Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. Many people associate this verse with Rome. There is another city of interest which was founded by Constantine. It was Constantinople (Istanbul) which was referred to as New Rome and was also built on 7 hills. Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. Constantinople was defeated by the Ottoman Empire in 1453 marking the official end of the Roman Empire. There were 5 empires prior to Rome with it being number 6. Five empires fell before Rome #6 which then was defeated by #7 the Ottoman Empire. Rev 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. The beast that was (before Rome), and is not (during Rome), he is the 8th and is of the 7. This qualifies a revived Ottoman Empire as one of the 7 therefore a possibility of being the 8th. This also disqualifies Rome as a possibility since the beast "is not" while #6 (Rome) is in power. Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. This verse also argues against Rome since the 10 kings were not in power while Rome was. The 4th kingdom has 10 kings as part of it therefore has not existed yet. Dan 2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king. Dan 2:37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. Dan 2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. Dan 2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. Dan 2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. Dan 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. Daniel gives Nebuch the interpretation to his dream. Nebuch was #1, Media Persia #2, & Greek #3. The 4th has the 10 toes/kings when it arrives. Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia. Dan 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. Dan 8:22 Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power. Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. Here we see Greece #3 conquering Media Persia #2. Then notice that the Greek Empire is broken into 4 divisions. This is what happened to Alexader's Greek Empire after his death. The 4 divisions battled it out leaving the Northern king as the victor. That northern division was known as Asia Minor or basically the middle east of today. The Ottoman Empire controlled this area during its reign. In the latter time of this kingdom (Asia Minor/Ottoman Empire) the AC rises. Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Pergamos was located in what we know as modern day Turkey. Turkey is what remains of the Ottoman Empire. If it were to revive the Ottoman Empire that could be viewed as recovering from a deadly head wound. I have a theory that Satan chose a geographic headquarters similar to God choosing Jerusalem. Pergamos was located in the old Babylon Empire. The Mystery Babylonian religion was practiced in Pergamos when Babylon fell. The next Empire rolls into the geographic area and begins to be influenced by the ancient mystery religions of the area. So each consecutive empire that ruled the area basically inherited the ancient gods of the area. The successive empires just change the names of the gods but worship the same entities of Babylon. That would explain how the final Mystery Babylon was responsible for the blood of prophets and saints. Istanbul (city on 7 hills) could possibly be the city. Eze 38:2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, Meshech and Tubal were located in the ancient Turkey region just under the Black Sea. Search for "Meshech" at Wiki and zoom in on the Black sea region. You can see Meshech/Thubal/Gog Magog in that area. I see the Gog battle as the same battle as Armageddon so that would place Gog as a world leader from Turkey. A solid case for Turkey can be biblically made as a possible contender for Mystery Babylon. Peace, PTT

There's a little problem with Nimrod being Cain's offspring. If Nimrod was a Gibbor that would mean that Cain who was Nimrod's father had to have mated with a female Nephilim to have an offspring that was a Gibbor. I was told the Angels were all male so how is this possible??? Could it have actually been Cain's wife who mated with a Nephilim resulting in the conception of Nimrod? That would make Cain not the biological father of Nimrod unless Cain was a Gibbor himself.
