The Penguin Episode 3 Review - Our DC Review

I was not expecting the opening to be a flashback, but seeing the flood from Victor's perspective shows the real impact of Riddler's actions. And yeah, both the Snyderverse and even the Battle of New York in the MCU being shown in shows like Hawkeye help give that connective issue to the bigger world. I have no idea if Vic will make it out of this series, but I love the depth that he's been given.

I completely agree that was an absolutely fantastic episode love getting the backstory on Victor. I’m hearing many people think Victor will most likely pay with his life by the end of the season after getting played as a Patsy by Oz, but I think we’re gonna see Victor grow and get wiser and in the end, get away, but not to go be with his girl, but to be someone else within the crime scene of Gotham. Solid 9 for me

This episode blew the other two away. I don’t know what’s with HBO shows 3rd episodes being so emotional but that trend continues. Victor is my favourite character in the show and the explosion scene was extremely tense. I feel bad for Victor. The panic attack at the end got me choked up. The end of the episode was extremely tense. This episode got better and better as it progressed. Sophia felt like ten steps ahead. Victor not leaving was really sad and I think Oz cares a lot about Victor even though he manipulated him.

One thing I found interesting was when this show got announced I was excited but I also felt do we really need this I mean does the penguin deserves a show of his own but now I'm literally speechless cuz thing fucking rocks. Every episode just keeps getting more and more better.
