Shankar's movies are always ahead of time and have a deep rooted social message with all elements of a commercial blockbuster. 2.0 was a extravagant movie and a sequel to Enthiran. It was released in 3D as well and was a top grosser.Well worth a watch. Highly recommended

Endhiran in Tamil and Robot in Hindi, released in 2010, marked the first part of the series. 2.0, released in 2018, is a standalone sequel to Enthiran Part 1. Both films were industry hits and blockbusters and worth watching. While 2.0 is visually impressive, and Endhiran remains much more entertaining in terms of content, screenplay, and performance.

Enthiran (Tamil) / Robot (Hindi) was the first movie and was quite well made too. A massive hit as well at the box office. VFX was superlative by Indian movie standards at that time. Worth watching multiple times. 2.0 (Tamil and Hindi title) is the sequel but not as good as the first part owing to the relatively weaker script. But a decent one time watch nonetheless.
