Love that Micah is wearing an FCA bracelet! My daughter plays club volleyball for them! The breakfast loaf looks so easy and delicious, it would be great for when you have company over or Christmas morning. I think it is fantastic that your children love to cook and are comfortable in the kitchen.

Those were some pretty amazing appetizers. I make that artichoke dip but I drain them first so the dip isn't so runny. You can also get them marinated. They have better flavor.😋 😊

Tori and Micah you both did great jobs. I don't care for brie. So I was thinking cream cheese and cranberries. I'm not a fan of scallops. so I'll be doing maybe baby Weiner's. I really like the bread basket Tori BUT I don't do spicy. sense I'm older. so I will leave that out but everything looks great. I can see me making that for dinner. it's just the 2 of us (hubby) quick and easy. I miss the kids cooking a meal. now I cook all the time. Love the idea of serving that dip w/apples! *Here's a tip for keeping your apples from turning brown while sliced & on a tray for serving; give them a quick dip, all at once, in a bowl of pineapple juice. Then transfer w/a slotted spoon to a colander resting in the sink. After most of the juice has drained off, you can arrange slices on serving tray~ voila'! Perfectly fresh & lovely looking for many hours. Lemon or lime juice works too, just depends on whether you want a sweet or tart flavor to your apples, based on what you're serving them with. This is also great for dehydrating or freeze drying apple slices as well.

The brie is also fantastic with apricot jam. Another easy, delicious one is Ritz or any favorite cracker, (whole wheat ones are delicious). Place around a 1/3 block of room temp cream cheese. Pour over the cream cheese cold lemon curd. Tastes like lemon meringue pie. So could. Can also use orange marmalade or apricot jam. You can substitute ricotta cheese or marscapone cheese in place of cream cheese.
