21 minutes long, omg, YAY! 😄 Last time I watched with my husband and he saw that Solo was helping meal prep, and I told him how much I have learned from you about meal prep, going to the store less often, mealplanning, etc. and he said: We could totally do this once a week if you want, I could help too! ♥️♥️♥️ It was soooo sweet. We are only a family of 4 so I only plan so that we have 2-3 meals ahead but these videos give me some great ideas and inspiration!

Raising them and living them has been our biggest blessing we have 21 grandchildren family gatherings are fun and can be a little chaotic in a good way!! One night I told mine they could eat whatever they could find for dinner while I had cheese and crackers for dinner (cooking three meals a day during this quarantine had taken its toll). I walked back in to the kitchen, and the six year old was dipping a ring pop in to a puddle of syrup. I stood there a minute, said “carry on” and walked back to my charcuterie board. Granola seems like a healthy and filling meal to me!

So excited to see you make the "Fluffy German Pancake"! Here in Sweden we just call it "oven pancake" :) A common variation is to have bacon in it (you simply lay out uncooked strips of bacon in the melted butter and then pour the batter on top and it cooks at the same time) which makes for a quick savoury meal. Or you add apples and cinnamon to make it more like a dessert, or leeks, broccoli and cheese to keep it healthy-ish... It works nicely with healthier flours as well. One it is made you can cut slices and freeze them, or eat the leftover bits cold from the fridge. When I was a kid that was my favourite haha, cold left over "oven pancake" with strawberry jam on top!

One of my favorite meals to make ; Filipino Lumpia, super delicious 😋 You can make it to your preference such as adding shrimp, pork, chicken and veggies ( finely chopped potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions etc) Use lumpia wrappers. Pro tips - read this - Oh yay! You made our go to holiday breakfast everyone at my husbands family’s house asks me to make! We call the puffy pancakes, popeye pancakes because it kind of looks like an eye when it’s inflated I guess. We have done them with wheat flour, 1C wheat flour, 1 C Milk, and 5-6 eggs. I’ve also doubled it, but when I double it in a 9x13 lower temp 15 degrees and double the time. We also use the powdered sugar and then cut orange slices to squeeze the juice over the powdered sugar, no syrup. It turns it into a citrus glaze and is delicious and get eat the oranges out of the peel after squeezing them over. I’ve also made half and 1/4 a batch because my husband asks for these every Sunday now. I like the just for holidays. Oh and mix the ingredients in a blender not a mixer.

Hey, Great Video. 👍🏻👍🏻 Just wanted to let you know that I am from Germany, but I have never heard of these German puffy pancakes. They might exist somewhere but not where I am from.

Mmmmm I love Mung Beans! Solo is right. Many other cultures eat these beans. Filipinos prepare it almost like Kenyans do, or at least Filipinos from Hawaii anyway. Love how helpful your children are!

Love your meal prep videos ! Those “German” pancakes in the UK are called Yorkshire Puddings and we generally have them with a roast dinner or toad in the hole (where you bake Sausages in with the batter) You got a lot done !

If you're "awful" for giving your kids breakfast for supper then someone should call child protection services on me. On my daughter's birthday, we had cake and ice cream for breakfast, and pizza for lunch and supper.

The baked pancakes remind me of “Yorkshire puddings” in the U.K. In addition you can brown sausages and bake them with the batter to make “Toad in the hole” Good old British traditions

When I have big thick chicken breast, I slice them in half because we prefer a thin piece of meat and it makes the chicken breast go twice as far. It cooks much quicker on the grill this way also. I just got done making chicken for the freezer. I got this idea from the Pioneer Woman. Season (and cut thin. My idea) bake on 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Then cool completely and put in gallon size zip lock bags. I can get about 4 peices per bag and have enough room to avoid sticking together when frozen.Or you can flash freeze on cookie sheets so they wont stick together. Store in large freezer bags. Then keep a bag in the fridge to eat for lunches or dinner and freeze the rest to use later. When we reheat them I usually warm them up in the oven.

Another great video. Thank you. I also meal prep with out actually cooking it if I can. Life is so much easier when the day is long and all you have to do is turn the oven or crockpot on and turn the knob. And the prepping part is a creative way to have family time for us.

Agree with Sarah - I prep the food then cook it that day. I do pre-cook shredded beef and chicken in the crockpot, freeze in meal sizes, then cook it in casseroles, etc. I try to fill up both my crockpots, so they last a month or two. Help to get the meat at the lowest price.
