Hey everyone! Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the video. In the past I've had viewers asking about where the download links are to the cameras I'm using. If I've obtained a camera someone else created, the links can be found in the description of the video. However for a lot of videos (like this one) I created the cameras myself from scratch, hence why the videos sometimes take so long. Therefore there is no link to download a camera. There is also a debug version with its integrated camera mode, but for that you're gonna need a PS3 emulator to run it (for example RPCS3 as all the games are now playable on it). The downside is that you might need like a mid-tier PC in order to run it at 30-60 fps

One of the best horror games ever made, the graphic details is impressive, never gets old. In my opinion this one doesn't need a remake this game needs a secuel for current console generation, current graphics and Ray tracing and it will be ready to go. Thanks for this videos.

The remake tbh I think will help to reestablish what dead space used to be before EA leeched its developers. If EA can prove they care in this remake, I think a sequel to dead space 3 is in order.

@@melloyellogsxr your thinking of remasters not remakes. Remake you build it up from the ground, remasters tend to make the game look more modernized, fix bugs and make small tweaks on the original. Also seems like your forgetting that dead space 1 was heavily inspired by RE4.

Never noticed Issacs name badge with his picture before, lol... right there, showing his face clear as day. Now, I'm sure it wasn't "clear as day" when I first played this, on 360... but later on PC it surely was. Could have seen all that facial detail from the get go right there.

I don't know if it's the same for all systems, but on PS3, you get full control of the camera after the crash, so you can see his face for a good few seconds before he puts his helmet on.

We always talk about Isaacs face reveal at the end; you can actually see his face after the crash. When Kendra and Hammond are arguing about the proper course of action instead of crashing, you can turn the camera around and look as they argue while he sits there.

I really wish we could have seen behind some of the locked doors that are inaccessible. For example: a survivor running away when you enter a burning room runs inside a room you can’t access. I would love to see the inside of it.

This game absolutely gave me nightmares. When I had this game I played it in the middle of the night and need I must say; it was the worst decision I ever made. For instance, the guy at 6:20 I thought he was a one of those aliens that I was killing, and on top of that he looks half dead and alive. Now that I witness this video it creeps me out seeing how sabotage he is. Can't wait for the remake of this game, it'll be just like old times playing at night, especially when it's quiet. Very horrific stuff here.

You can actually see his face at the very beginning after the ship crashes. You have a few seconds to turn the camera to see his face right before he puts on his helmet. I’m surprised not a lot of ppl know that.

Out of all the things in this video, 8:08 is the one that surprised me the most. I had always thought that the USM Valor was always just outside of the games "skybox" and would make it's way in a straight line towards the Ishimura once triggered...but, now knowing it just enlarges to give the illusion of it getting closer until it gets to it's true size and THEN travels to the player is a rather clever and surprising way to do it.

this was really dope! i'm a huge fan of Dead Space. i'm not sure if others are really aware of this, but when you crash at the very beginning, there is a brief period where you can spin the camera around to see Isaac's face while Kendra and Hammond are arguing before he pops his helmet on. the look on his face is disoriented and looking around like "what kind of mess am i about to go in?" good stuff. :D

This was great!! Thanks so much Slippy! This is so interesting Dead Space's devs were so clever at keeping us immersed haha xD (I wonder if Motive's team will do the same things in the Remake? Also I like the detail of Isaac's I.D. tag and his face not being all bloody during the game's intro; on the Xbox version right before the crew gets up, you can briefly rotate the camera and see Isaac's face.)
