What would be cool is if MBTS got the welding done and painted it Aaron yellow before DP got back. Now that would be a video to see. Great job guys.

UGH. All that extra cutting after it was done and paid for! You guys are hard core. I was on my feet on concrete this morning rebuilding a hydraulic cylinder, and I can hardly walk. 69 years means I'm good for about half day! My neighbors homemade root rake is on an excavator. AND, the clock video, that was spectacular! I would never have gotten to see any of that without your efforts. Thanks again.

a clean, "croc free" shop, IT'S AMAZING, 40 years of working on concrete taught me good shoes, save your back, knees, and neck........you really need a Starrett 5 in one tool............ works for wood and metal...I have seen 4 attempts at "skid steer root rakes", none ever worked worth a damn....the rake on my D5 is flat iron , not near as heavy and it works famously

On the topic of a plasma table. I decided to just build my own. Mine will cut 30 by 40 even the cheap plasma cutter will handle 5/8 plate. I have legs on the back with casters so when im done with it, It stands up and rolls. Off into the corner of the shop. Only takes up about a foot by 5 foot with 2 little legs sticking 6 inches past.

You guys have been doing some nice metalworking. I was a shop rat in high school from '67-'72 and learned a lot. But when I joined the Navy, they put me in the Seabees and sent me to steelworker school, where I studied all phases of metalworking. You have many good skills that must save you a lot of money on fabrication. Also, I enjoyed the Clock Tower video. I used to be a clock winder/oiler at a church with similar mechanisms and one big bell. I'm looking forward to you getting back out of the shop and moving some dirt, etc.👍✌

Made me chuckle. You explaining the mistaken 4 inch should have been 4 and an 8th and MBTS saying he was going to cut off a torch width. It reminded me of my late favourite uncle Cyril who would say to me whenever we had a similar issue “Steve just take a bees wing off it” 😂😂😂 Another epic build. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍👍

It's really great to have a shop connected to your house...but as you point out, you "need" more shop space. Another project might be converting your storage shed out side the shop to a building extension to hold a plasma cutting table...and perhaps a shed extension to house what's out under the shed...after you cull it and haul extras to your new farm.
@billtheunjust

Itd be cool if you made a mounting bracket for it on Bubba dump so you could transport it on the front. Maybe even mount it with the skid steer plate facing out so the skid steer could directly put it on/off. (idk if it's too wide for the road though)

Mike, consider a Langmuir Systems plasma table. The smaller one handles half a sheet, which will accommodate most anything you’ll need to cut, and you can definitely find space for it in your shop. They’re also a lot less expensive than the big tables.
