We love our Snowpeak firepit. I have spent a small fortune of Snow Peak gear over the past few years and every single peace has performed outstandingly and lasted without a single breakage. Awesome stuff. Their tent pegs, while expensive, are well worth it.

Hi Ronny, from Iowa, USA. I love your videos -- Australia's landscape is so much different than what I'm used to and I think it's beautiful and would love to visit some day...it's on the list! So glad to see you and Andrew doing a video together. My two favorite Australian Overlanders! Love all your videos, keep them coming!

means allot when you say "as far as I'm concerned all of Australia is aboriginal land" I'm half native American, so those words really hit home, especially with what's been going on here. thank you Ronny. it's refreshing to see others with the same passion for land stewardship combined with 4wding.
@SpectreOZ7 жыл бұрын
We are all stewards of this Planet, sadly not everyone understands this important symbiotic relationship. In some cases native title translates into loss of access to all peoples to the beauty of nature
@AZTLANSOLDIER135 жыл бұрын
@@SpectreOZ good point. And it's ironic that land ownership was not part of native culture

I've hade the same swag/tent for about a year now and think it's an awesome bit of gear. So much room inside, I can sit up and change my clothes in it. And with the open bottoms I thought it would bother me but haven't had an issue. Packing size is not much bigger than a coffin swag! Good choice Ronnie.

+Dennis Symergelis my thoughts exactly I'm pretty happy with it. Have you had any poll splits yet?

Ronny, I dig all of your videos. Here in Washington state all of the trails and logging roads are your normal dirt color. Most of the off road footage I see in Australia has that red color to the dirt, very cool. Nice to see an FJ Cruiser along too.

Hey Ronny! I'm going back rewatching old series during lockdown (Melbourne). Just wanted to say I really enjoy hearing about the name and stories of the traditional indigenous owners of the land you travel on just like you did in this series. Maybe that could be an ongoing theme in future series ? A little note about the name of country and traditional inhabitants of the land. Its always interesting to hear about how long ago they were there. Just a thought! Keep up the great work

Hi Ronny, love your videos and style, but it's clear the best driver in Australia's premier 4x4 show is a South African. I've watched all your adventures, and can't remember any that you did not get stuck or drive off the path into the bushes and need winching. On the other hand, the quiet assassin Wayne: never seen him put a toe offline or get stuck :). Cheers.

Ronny, Is this place suitable for a soft offroader like a Hyundai Santa Fe? Just asking as I am thinking of doing a trip up there next month with me in a Ranger, a mate in a Pajero and another who wishes to bring his Santa Fe. What do you think?
@paulcavka13758 жыл бұрын
Hi Ronny, thanks for sharing your great videos with. I was a pro photographer and am amazed at the quality of cinematography you produce. Mate would love to know what setup your using for your selfies. I'm guessing some sort of DJI gymble? Audio is great, which makes me think the camera isn't Osmo. Hey, where's Brian?
@Ronny_Dahl8 жыл бұрын
In this video it was with the Gopro but I now use the Osmo which can be a pain somethings as it it needs to pair with the phone before use... makes it hard to catch wildlife sometimes
@arefeshghi7 жыл бұрын
Nice video. Do you have (/ can you do) a video on how you make these videos and what you use for making them including cameras, applications, etc. ? I want to start making videos in nature, but have no experience. I have done some photography, but did not make any videos before. I think you used at least one professional camera, plus a drone for this video. It would be very nice if you can also introduce techniques and tips too. If you like of course! :)

Another cool video Ronny. Question... what are your thoughts on rooftop tents? You seem to love the swags, but wouldn't a rooftop be much more comfortable?
@Ronny_Dahl8 жыл бұрын
That is a great question and one I will go into detail during another video just on tents I reckon. There are a few reasons and the main ones is I don't like having weight on the roof, the others I'll cover in a video ;)
@PhantasticAdventures8 жыл бұрын
Ronny Dahl I would love to collaborate on this topic and make a discussion video on the pro and cons between roof top tent, swag, and normal tent. Could do it with Wayne :)
