POLL: Should I DELETE this video? Yes ✅ or no ⛔ I missed something in Amazon's policies: they have added an exception and will print low content books without an ISBN (but won't do expanded distribution printing for them). To clarify, I would personally still avoid spending time creating books to publish without an ISBN, because Amazon also only lets you use the preview feature & look-inside feature for books with an ISBN. This has been shown to have a big impact on conversions, and conversions are a big factor in ranking & getting sales, putting you at a disadvantage against the other low content books that do have these features/do have an ISBN. I'd much rather focus on medium content books as I said, which come with the ISBN. That way I am not at a disadvantage. However, I DID make a mistake and so I am genuinely wondering: should I delete the video? Yes ✅ or no ⛔

There is a solution even better, create a brand or at least, show Amazon that you made the enquiry, this brand need to have a logo and a name and use it on your front or back cover and you will have the right to use Content plus for your low content book without ISBN and content plus have more impact than preview. 😎

Can you please more what you mean when you say it takes $2,000 to launch one product - what sort of product? An ebook? A FBA product? A dropshipped product? A POD product? If you mean POD, I honestly sincerely disagree. I have a video showcasing a case study where I started a POD store for free, and grew it from $0 to $4k+/week in less than 6 months. I've learned over the years that you *must* add value to make money. If it's something that anyone can do easily, then everyone will do it and it won't be profitable. At best, it's going to be a lottery, with a handful of people doing well while thousands waste their time. You must add value, do something that not anyone can do, some special skill or knowledge that you have, or something.

Great info here. What separates the innovators from the 'copycats' is the time and effort put into the content they release. Times are changing, and people need to learn to think outside the box and adapt to the new changes. In reality, people need to stop copying or 'ripping off' stock videos for monetization and create their own or use AI. A lot of hate towards AI, but no one truly knows how much work it takes to create high-quality content involving AI (I'm not talking about the lazy people who use AI, don't review it, and just post as is.. which is NOT the way to go). I'm getting more into AI filmmaking, which does take me hours to write out a script, think of ideas on what scenes I want, AND THEN it takes more time to generate the content I need, AND THEN a bunch of other work involved like upscaling, video editing, and revision. Thank you, Sarah. I always learn a thing or two by watching your videos and expanding on the ideas you touch on.

Spot on about the AI aspect. Funny enough we used it at my job to make some designs for custom socks with the idea of putting those out and seeing what people like the best. If people are buying say more designs with the landscape pixel art then we know now to find an artist who can collaborate with us. I do think early on as in right now we might get a ton of lazy AI work until we all realize how difficult it will actually be to create something with it. It does some work well now without effort like Photoshop's generative AI tool when you want to say extend a picture since you increased the aspect ratio or just want to remove something from the image. It's more a time saver.

Great video sharing side hustles you should stay away from. I've tried etsy and t-shirt designs. At the end of the day investing in the stock market has been the best for me. You're not going to get super wealthy overnight. But over time it adds up and well within a few years you can easily be making a few thousand or more depending on how much money you continue to invest. I went from $0 per month in dividends to almost $100 a month in 15 months time, plus I still have all the money I invested. For Amazon ISBN for low content books I'm not sure it's from their own will but more an homogenization of an international rule. See I'm French and when I've learned if you use the free ISBN from Amazon you cannot sell elsewhere but some government give it for free, I had a look in France and they stated that ISBN is only for real book like novels, technical books, learning books but low content such as sudoku, planners, notebooks, color books… cannot, which make sense, why a library would like to orders a low content book for their readers?!!!
@WholesaleTed6 ай бұрын
Yes! Sorry, I made a clarification in the comments. Low Content books have a clause on Amazon that do allow them to be individually printed, but not widely printed. However, it's still IMHO an outdated side hustle because without an ISBN, you are not eligible for two important features: >>> You can't do a preview and a look-inside of your book. These are features Amazon only offers to books with an ISBN. They have been shown to greatly improve conversions, which is an important ranking factor in ranking highly for keywords. I would still therefore never personally choose to publish low content books, because you'd be at a disadvantage compared to other low content books that got to have an ISBN, unless you're willing to pay for it individually yourself 🙏

is the quiz at tik tok still a live hustle ?
@WholesaleTed6 ай бұрын
I'm not quite sure the question sorry, but I've had others ask if they are demonetized. And the answer is I've seen no policy changes that have demonetized quiz videos and so any rumors that you can't monetize them as far as I'm aware are false. A lot of misinformation runs rampant online about what content is & isn't eligible for monetization.

@@WholesaleTed Thanks for the answer. I was mostly curious if the trend is still alive for new accounts, and whether people still watch, like, and follow them. Just to add to the conversation and share some information, I believe the Quizmaster account that started the quiz trend is a well-known and respected quiz maker in the community, having been around for more than 10 years. I can't verify if it's the same "Quizmaster," but it would make sense if it were.

I still get quizzes promoted to me in my feed, and they get hundreds of thousands to millions of views! You know, I was one of the very first group of KZbinrs to make videos on ecommerce. When I first started making videos sharing my ecommerce tips, basically no content for it existed on KZbin. Now look at how many KZbinrs make content in the niche. Just because 1 person starts it, doesn't mean that only they can have success in it, or it is tied to them. They might have been the first to be inspired to make it, but they are just the spark. If I was thinking of entering a content niche, I wouldn't get too hung up on it tbh!

So basically you're doing all of these and monetizing less as more people are doing them and you do not want to share any of it. Gotcha! (Let's squeeze in an ad for my book as well!) 100something thousand views makes 4$ right?? Well done! Thank us for your Starbucks treat!

It's a good thing we can no longer make money from children's stories. It should have been forbidden from the outset to use "children" to make money. When you know how much looking at a screen for too long can harm them... But anyway, great video, thanks!

Damn, so what are great youtube niches we can monetized?
@WholesaleTed6 ай бұрын
As I said, anything that isn't aimed at kids has a much higher RPM if that is your goal. You have millions of interests/cultures/hobbies/passions that adults are interested in. Excluding kids content from your niche list doesn't really exclude many niches at all!

What to do ? 😭😭😭

Ahhhh yes, I see your channel. If I were you, and being monetized with adsense was my goal, I would only continue if I was recording my own sound effects, and having my own non-static visuals!

I am sad about kids video 😢, I am planning to make that niche 😭
@WholesaleTed6 ай бұрын
You still can! It's totally up to you, but I'd recommend doing the math before you do. How many views do you expect to get per video? How long will it take you to make them? If you have a way to make kids videos quickly, you can offset the low RPM by putting out lots of videos quickly. But if making a video takes you any longer than 1-2 hours, then the maths may not add up for what you're hoping to earn! 🙏
