Outside the sony is not louder than the JBL for sure also is because of the shape of the speaker. Sony is good on low volume because you can feel the difference in the souund because of the effects it has but in high volumes all the sound the quality and especially the BASS is on 100% in the JBL is just better

Techrig Xtreme 1 is way louder outside. And with connect 2 xtreme 1’s is really loud. Xtreme 1 has deep punchy and loud bass but xtreme 2 bass is lower and a bit more clear

For Sony i just like their headphones. Not their speakers. I only have a WH1000 XM3 noise cancelling from Sony and its outstanding ! As “studio” headphones i currently have dt1990pro and the sound is like super flat (thats the whole point of studio headphone) and the sony without EQ still has more bass and makes it more enjoyable for music. I've heard both, Sony has a louder "forward" sound around the mid area, which also carries the harmonics in most bass notes. JBL has stronger actual bass. EQ down all frequencies to both except the bass, and it will be obvious.

It is impossible and trust me, the eq is shit. Clavinetjunkie is an audiophile and even he said the same. You cannot change a sound this muffled with a software equalizer, it will just sound unnatural. Unlike a hardware equalizer it cant manage power output for certain frequencies.

the xtreme 2 is a outdoor speaker it might not be as loud or so but it has a full fabric skin and it has a strap to take it outside and the xb 41 is more like a indoor speaker

No. JBL is much better xD Sony without tweeters is muffled.but for lower Budget is good choice

No! Grida un po di più la sony.. La jbl xtreme.. A basso volume suona bene nei bassi.. Ad alto volume no.. Invece la sony xb 41..suona bene sia a basso volume che as alto.. Però io vi ho detto il mio parere. Quindi.. Liberi di pensarla come volete.. Poi dipende di cosa siete fan.. Perché io ho provato sia la xtreme.. Che la sony.. E per i il mio orecchio.. Va meglio la sony.. Al momento io.. Ho la xb40.. E forse comprerò la xb41..
