What helpful tips I will remember this when walking a trail in Palestine

My base kit is in a 2 oz tobacco tin. Yes, it all fits by the way. Inside: 1 Jet Scream whistle 1 tube potassium permanganate (3" x 1/4" diameter) 1 x 25 yard disposable bobbin of T9 sewing thread 1 ferro rod (4" x 3/8"), with a bit of hacksaw blade for a striker. 1 Photon Microlite torch & diffuser bulb 2 wire saws 2 D8 finishing nails 50' #10 fishing line 5 each of #4, #6, and #8 fishing hooks a #13 sail needle a #18 darning needle 1 Sun mini orientating compass 10 each of #1 and #2 safety pins an SOL Rescue Flash heliograph wax soaked jute rope (4" x 1/4") 8 lifeboat matches cotton wool packing Top: 1 credit card size Fresnel lens 24 strike-anywhere matches 12 lifeboat matches 1 match striker The strike anywhere matches are vacuum sealed in two packages and the dozen lifeboat matches are heat sealed in six milkshake straws. They are stacked on top of the two packs of matches, with the lens underneath, and taped to a 3" x 4" card of 16 gauge aluminium as a stiffener. The striker is taped to the opposite side of the card. The tin is dunk proof with Guerrilla tape and the matches and lens packet is secured to the tin with three ranger bands. The nails are to make a bow saw with the wires and there're two saws in case one breaks. It never leaves my pocket from the time I get out of bed to the time I retire; right along with a Cold Steel large Voyager, a Comoran folding cleaver (with the G-10 scales) and an Arctic Fox sharpening puck from BYXCO.
