It is really nice to see the last few videos of you out in your woods. It is what attracted me to your channel years ago. I have to say that with all those trees down in woods near the trails, that many videos could be made of a family day(s) out in the woods. It could show you bucking up those trees, family members bringing the rounds to the trail and then using the tractor or skid loader with a firewood bucket to bring the rounds back to woodyard. With four or five family and extended family members, you could get a lot done in a day with a relaxing night with dinner out on the patio with a cookout. Just a thought. Congrats to Hannah and Tyler.

Hello Morgans!! Thank you first for having the Best KZbin Channel!!, (Been a long time fan, and proud of it) I’m from Georgia. I’m fixing to move to New York, where I will be only 5 hr 55 min (386 miles), [short drive] from y’all compared to (820 miles), 11 hours, 33 minutes from Georgia, so maybe I can come to the Fire Works Show in person, with my wife. And meet y’all at a Paul Bunyan exhibit or something. Going to your neighborhood, will be a piece of cake and driving my new 2024 Z71 Diesel Suburban which has a driving range of 760 miles per tank for the 772 mile “Round Trip” Journey. It will be a walk in the park. REALLY ENJOYED the last few episodes i watched of cleaning up the property. ( I use to do that type of work for fun on a 2200 acre hunting land with about 98 miles of roads grassy roads , which I just had a tractor with “Bush Hog”, ChainSaw, and a MULE (4010 TRANS4x4°). I will miss going down to the country, but watching your channel I will feel right at my old home base. Congratulations to Hannah and Tyler ! Tell Hunter Hello, looking forward to meeting y’all. Thanks for sharing the shows, and love your new cabin. REALLY ENJOYED

Good morning! I am envious that you got your trails cleaned up. I worked with the logger cutting on us to save some of the better logging roads so I could keep them as access roads. My fall trip will need to have some mapping done! There’s a half section of unbroken timber, and we need access roads for prescribed burns, firefighting, deer retrieving, and general fun. Congratulations all around for the good news! Your grandkids will like having a cousin! Hello Hunter!

I'm 57 and in central VA we've always called them bush hoggs or brush hoggs. Rotory cutter sounds like some yuppie term. As for all the trees down you basically have all of the firewood for next year on the ground. Also congrats to Hannah on the baby news. She's a fine young lady and I often wonder what they are up to since we don't see her anymore on here. I think she's going to be a great mom. ❤

I have never heard of that equipment referred to as a " Rotary Cutter". Brush Hog, and Bush Hog here in SE Texas. Like you say, it doesn't really matter what you want to call it i guess. Trails looking good, that Skid Steer is great, esp. that Grapple you got, works like a hand. I was thinking, about the Excavator, Skid steer, Kubota LX, etc and thought my goodness, the amount of hours of labor they save, thousands of hours of labor, worth every dime. Hey Mike! Love your video. A pro tip I found. Put your grapple on your Kabota and your brush hog on the back (keep mower running all the time). It’s an amazing combo clearing trails. Hi Mike. I'm not sure if this would help you out or not. For the trees that have blown down, you can dry them out faster by doing this. Cut the stumps off and just let them lay there until fall. That's it. The leaves that are on them now will continue to suck the water out of the wood for quite some time. People around here have done this and have been able to burn the wood that year. In my opinion, the wood is still not dry enough, but it does burn. It will, however, remove a lot of moisture from the wood. Something else you can do is to cut the bark around the entire tree butt on standing trees. Just make a ring around the tree with your saw. So long as the bark is cut through, trees will dry out while standing. You can do this at any time during the year. This is good to do if you know the tree will have to come down in the future, but you still have some time before then.
