As a person who was formally self employed I need to express how important it is to take some time off for yourself and relax. One can get into the grind as one day becomes just like the last, Saturday and Sunday no longer feel like the weekend merely the next day of the week to get work done and on Sunday all of the supply houses are closed. Great video Mike, thumbs up.

At first I felt strange and guilty about not working, and then I remembered that I would start working at 7am and sometimes work until 9pm; I would also remember about how some of my customers would want to change the contract after all of my labor and materials were installed. Mike, only thing I'd throw out for your consideration would be to add a couple more boulders (any time you feel the urge) up at the building grade to serve as a visual stop for visitors at night (with maybe a coupe low reflectors) that'd tie the boulders on the bank below into the area up above at building grade. Then maybe some metal edging that'd stand proud of the gravel road to keep the gravel from getting thrown down into your fresh mulch. Not suggesting you haven't done a great job -- you have -- just something to consider for future tweaks. We have a similar setup, and our gravel was always ending up being pushed into the planting bed.
