As a book reader, I loved it. Sam did great I have to say. How he stiffens up at the sound of her voice. Jamie recognized the sound of her voice immediately after not hearing it for 20 years. Then he moves slowing to investigate if he's hearing correctly b/c this can't be wife. He's so suspicious & careful in his turn then he look right at, then you can see the shock with the hand steadying himself & the best of all you can see the softness & love come right this face. It's so much love tucked away for so long its just came to him all at once that the passes out. PERFECT! The last thing Jamie believed when he woke up out of bed was that Claire was going to walk back into his life. He will do anything to keep her with him even if it means keeping some sad truths from her. Claire's a smart girl she can feel he's hiding information it's Jamie who just will not confess for fear she will leave him again.

That is my second favorite part I think, and the most favorite is the cut from opening of the door to the inside of the shop. How the swelling music is cut to the ambient sounds of the shop. Transporting to Edinburgh, check. Locating the shop, check. Climbing the stairs, check. Opening the door, check. Now what?

I love that he turns around with such a distrustful look - how dare someone trick him with his wife's identity - and he mouths her name and she says yes, faints away. Love it. Always wanted one of those cloaks too for as long as I can remember. Wish we had them now.

Deborah Davis at what time does he mouths her name????
@Lorgayle17 жыл бұрын
I think he actually recognized her voice, because he stops still. Then when she speaks again, he starts to turn. I believe it is in disbelief (not trusting it to be true, as you mentioned). I haven't read the books, but I understand that he had hallucinations of her (we saw the one on at the battle of Culloden, and when he thought his sister was Claire momentarily). I loved how eyes eyes slowly widened as he looked at her.

Sam and Cate have a unique friendship. Noticed in so many photos, San always has a special look in his eyes for her and holds her tight to him. I’m not seeing this with any photos of him and girlfriends. I think MacKenzie is adorable. They look sweet together but just not giving me that feeling of being real in his heart. They would have beautiful children. She’s young and also talented too. But I’m not feeling it like I do when Sam is seen with Cate. And it’s hard to be married and still have a woman as you’re very best friend. That’s usually you’re wife or husband that has that title. You can have friend but not best friends. 9 out of 10 times it doesn’t work. Just want to see Sam happy. He deserves the best! They all do! Love to all of the Outlander actors, writers, producers. Staff who take care of the awesome clothing and makeup and hair. The production of building and scenery and all other things. But a big Thank you to Diana for her wonderful writing of this the greatest love story ever! Thank you to all from my ❤️! Keep up the excellent performance of this series!

As a fan of both the books and tv series, i loved it!!! one of best moments in Outlander when Jamie and Claire reunite after their 20 year separation , the scene was very emotional despite they lived very different lives and have changed, Jamie and Claire haven't stop loving each other and are the love of each other's lives.

It is so romantic, so emotional, i have never known anything like it, Diana Gabaldon is such an amazing writer, and the actors and actresses are absolutely perfect for the roles. Hats off to all you guys, this is the most amazing series i have ever seen, you portray it beautifully and i absolutely love it all xx

Now I am waiting for Claire to find out about Jamie " walking secret" and I know next season she meet the secret as well.
@rosiebenzi7 жыл бұрын
Kimberly Jones you will not have to wait to next season for her to find out Jamie's little secrets it comes all out by the end of the season it's part of the voyage they have to take into falling in love again and accepting each other and their lives. Jamie's hardships was a lot in 20 years and he's not proud of . Claire's uniqueness as a healer, she's a genius and a woman. She catches the attention of individuals quickly and it's not safe to say that she's married to Jamie. And it doesn't help that Claire is a very beautiful woman for the age of 49. Women in the 18th century don't look as healthy and beautiful . Jamie also has to come to terms that his wife is a very rare woman literally. Claire faces a lot of hardship but Jamie is a devoted loving husband she will stay. Jamie loves his children both represent different times in his life. Brianna the greatest love, William survival. Claire is a smart girl yes she's going to be hurt but the most important thing out of that secret coming out is that he does not love Geneva and he's on his knees telling her this begging for forgiveness. And this I definitely need to see. Jamie waited too long tonight and it almost cost him his marriage again.
@mskimberly.jones11147 жыл бұрын
Mercedes Erias I know that she find out this season but next season she meet William. It just make me mad that Jamie wait months after being together to say something. William should been mention at the dinner scene after jamie fainted.
@mskimberly.jones11147 жыл бұрын
Mercedes Erias and that why 💔💔💔 for William. William is raised thinking both parents are dead ( childbirth & suicide). Having to live in Helwater & the servants calling him a bastard. Having a strange man ( who was there for 6 years) and then coming in and out of his life. When he 18 -20 years old when he find out the truth and in my opinion what makes it worst is that everybody knew ( even Brianna) William was Jamie's son & nobody told him. Will Jamie tell William the whole truth? That Jamie never ❤️ Geneva the way she ❤️ him. He was conceived through blackmail.
@rosiebenzi7 жыл бұрын
Kimberly I totally agree with you Williams identity crisis is really sad. Not only does he have issues with both John and Jamie but he already knows that Geneva was reckless. This is why I think he also respects Claire and visions her as a wife mother and grandmother. I think eventually it's only fair for William to get the truth no matter how bad it is because Jamie already told him he doesn't regret him Jamie is his father and he loves him and he wants what's best for him and that means letting William go because of his inheritance. Jamie will protect William. Williams identity crisis is completely opposite then Brianna. I'm just waiting for Brianna to help William since she's older and she came out of her identity crisis pretty well. William is only 20 he still trying to figure life out and it's very hard for him especially when he looks at Jamie and he sees how much Jamie loves Claire. Brianna sees her parents completely in love while William wishes he could be part of the family. So sad
@rosiebenzi7 жыл бұрын
Agreed Jamie wait 4 months to tell her anything and by the time he just confessed, the cat is out of the bag she already has her doubts about her relationship with Jamie. He should've told her all his truth at the dinner table but he chose not too. It's the same with his other secret he chooses not to tell her. It's Jamie's choice because Claire provides many opportunities to come up with the truth. Jamie is the one with all the skeletons in the closet while Claire becomes very angry because of his distrust he breaks the promise and I really can't blame her for that because she had asked him so many times about his ties and responsibilities and he remain quiet for fear. Jamie has been lying to her all these months and that's where her anger is spinning from.

I just discovered this show on Netflix and those dirty bastards didn't put season 3 and 4 on Netflix. I going mad not seeing the next season.
