Then he wants her to give them a proper burial when she's done with them. She assure him she will take good care of them, just as she has been doing for years.

@@lilyk7326 quite far from a child. The writing overall of this show is a flawed mess compared to the first 2 seasons. The oddly placed scenes like this (and the window sex itself where they began by insinuating both were getting old?) are off-putting simply bc they are clearly tossed in, nearly like an editors afterthought. The storyline/telling with each year seems to stand in even more stark juxtaposition with the early seasons, which were cohesive from start to finish. It will likely be some time before most shows begin filming again, renew order or not I think people could fall away easily. That's not even getting into the finale, which I'm told includes Claire's rape. The ONLY storytelling transition that show can come up with. Just a whole family raped over time 🙄

I really find it hard to believe that a man of the late 18 century would not recognize the word " sperm". That he didn't indentify them from sight sure, but that he could not understand what is sperm even if it's at a basic level...i find that strange specially because he is not supposed to be completely uncultured.
