Hope you enjoy another one of our fun Outlander Season 4 videos to help get you over the dreaded Droughtlander!! Once again it was a fun day on the Outlander set and the crowds were fun and respectful of all of the filming! It was a beautifully sunny day in Scotland!
Hats off too, to the wonderfully professional Outlander Cast and Crew as they filmed in the historic village of Culross, which many of you diehard Outlander fans will know was used in Season 1 and Season 2...well they're back again and was great fun watching the filming throughout the day!
Can't wait to see the finished article in the upcoming Season 4 of our favourite show...Outlander!

There was no pushing there mate, some folk where asked too step back for safety reasons, but that was a great day my friend with the public, I'm the protection for Sophie who was a lovely person

Shirley Nitka there are no modern buildings. I was there today. I think you see scaffolding and some tents. I’m sure they were only there for the filming of Outlander. 😀

Imagine yourself at work and a stranger waves at you, would you wave back, I doubt it, you would look at them thinking who are they!?

No.. Not necessarily. I'm from and live in the US South. We wave at strangers all of the time. It was more prevalent in "earlier" days but it still happens. If someone waves, I automatically wave back. And I'm not sure if the fans wave at Cait and Sam first or they just see the fans and wave. They are much friendlier with their fans than most of the cast is. Sophie is a big part of the story, going forward. She might want to acknowledge her fans.

From my avid fangirling and watching hundreds of interviews and behind the scenes fan films as over the years (for many different fandoms) I think a lot of it comes down to personal preference. Some actors find it really distracting and they kind of have a work mood and a meet and greet mood and mixing them up on what could be for all we know a really tedious shoot just isn't something they want to risk. I also noticed there was a lot less yelling and calling to Sophie than i see in a lot of the videos with sam and cait, and without an indicator it might be hard to tell who's a fan and who's a journalist, she's still pretty new to being on such a big project and a lot younger than the leads so i wouldn't be surprised if it took her a little longer to get used to these sorts of interactions :)

from comments producer Matt Roberts made about being disappointed pics of Brianna/Sophie in costume leaked, I'm guessing they were instructed not to interact or give fans more photo ops. This is obviously a futile attempt to surprise non-bookreaders of the plot.

Diane Clavareau i think the palace interiors doubles as some of the interior at Lallybroch. The real Lallybroch (Midhope Castle) is just an empty shell...
