On nightmare and insane mode you get two batteries. These modes are pretty much the same besides the fact that you restart all the way back to the beginning in insane mode. I beat insane mode on both base game and dlc and it was the worst lol. Good luck if you try and do it.

No, it is! At the end of the game, Mark points out that this guy was still in the game when Miles entered. I mean, how else could chris/ the fat f****er be alive in this? It's entirely possible the two characters have been close to one another many times. Like with what I said, and in the main game, there's a point where miles is going through some pipes, and hears something fall in the water, in a place that looks very similar to when it happens in this game. It also makes the same splash noise and everything.

This is so much more tense than the original game. This honestly might be my favorite horror game of all time. It looks great aesthetically, the developer isn't afraid at all to go balls out with the graphic nature of the game which really makes the atmosphere and the horror element so great, and the acting and writing is so great.This is horror at its best, I wonder what type of stuff we would see if they allowed the community to create maps.

Miles actually showed up while Waylon was in the prison area- where that guy with the emaciated face went running and shook the fence screaming' no come back, you can't leave us like this' he could see Miles red car driving up the mountain! And when Waylon could overhear people screaming over the radio in this episode, it was Miles responding to being shot to death- by making everyone go pop as he did with Mr Blair

I retch today; it hurts my throat, and it’s sour. I put it back but Doctor Metzger in my belly doesn’t want it. The sickness is bad; these tumors ache my body. I weep at night, until God’s red water flows from my eyes and makes the love-feel flood into me. I scratch at my eyes to try to get God to release the red water. The others watch me as I write this; they are simple. They don’t understand what I am doing; why I am not cavorting for the fleeting eternities we have before we are pure? But I am already pure in heart; as they watch with the loathsome eyes, I make them feel the red water within me, and it’s in them, too. My friend is good at this; he bites and the red water flows free. He’s a cold friend, but he never looks at me with the same bitter eyes. Nor do the walls as I paint. Oh how the lovely god-tear-red-waters can be used! For so much! For unity! I am waiting here for you, my fire. Do not look upon me with eyes, for all the others did, and I made them pay for it. It's sad that in these horror games the characters don't think out of the box, like if it were me i would try to break a window or break through the wall. Or break the front doors open. Just break things. It works. If the doors have windows why cant you just break them and reach in to unlock it from the other side??? like where's the common sense? Then again, if that were the case there wouldn't really be much challenge.

And the best part about outlast is that it makes you feel all that with close to zero jumpscares. The titular enemies kill you in non jumpscare ways and the few jumpscares are intelligently designed. Really takes a phenomenal writing and game mechanics team to achieve all that
