I like the idea of no sunroof. But to get a full speced car they usually come with them. In Florida it isn't my favorite thing. Congrats Anna, I really like the way that it is speced. Not many people directly cross shop these cars - likely it’s Model S vs Taycan - however Anna isn’t the first person I’ve seen make this decision. Surprisingly I know at least 5 people that went from Model 3 to Taycan or the other way around. Congratulations and I’m looking forward to the road trip back to CO!

I picked mine up on a Thursday and my buddies and I left for a 500 mile roundtrip road trip the next day. The trip was already planned ahead of time, originally my buddy was going to drive, but when Tesla said delivery was scheduled for Friday I asked them if they could possibly bump it up a day and they obliged! Lucky timing, and I definitely had no complaints about driving as I was excited to. 😁

When you choose to live your life in front of the public eye, you have to come to expect and accept some amount of comment and criticism about the way that you do so. With that also comes the responsibility to live up to a certain level of decency and integrity. And when your behavior contradicts people's expectations, you can expect to hear about it. Long time viewers of the Out of Spec channels have become accustomed to being a virtual participant in the lives, activities, and relationship between Kyle and Alyssa. And the viewers come to experience a certain level of enjoyment in being able to do so, and come to have an expectation that those activities and their relationship would continue, because they look forward to it. So, when that expectation is suddenly and casually terminated, viewers are going to be disappointed. They feel let down. While Kyle certainly has the right to date whomever he chooses, nobody likes to see a long-term relationship such as theirs suddenly come to an end, and then watch him move on to a new one so quickly, as if the old one didn't matter. Changing cars every other week and treating them like they are disposable is one thing, but treating people and relationships that way is an entirely different thing. I know the channels are supposed to be focused on cars, but when you chose to put your personal life in with them, how you live it affects your viewers (and your friends and family, and maybe more than you realize). Like most people, I assumed that Anna was just an employee. I feel sorry for Alyssa and wish her all the best.

He should never have started on the road of having his romantic partner(s) on screen. It was naive to think it was a good idea and it would work out. Like you said people aren’t vehicles. He should realize HE alone is the talent. Viewers watch primarily for him. Other guests can easily water down the final product. Not to say he doesn’t bring other people on, but choose wisely. Realize the value of those he brings on and what impact they could have beforehand.

I'm a big E-Hybrid fan. Planning to go from a Pan4 E-Hybrid to a Cayenne E-Hybrid with the new 25.9-kWh battery pack. But I look forward to videos on your Pan E-Hybrid there, as well as on this new Taycan. And if you're buying a Taycan ST, I really look forward to lots of videos on that, as well! For serious road-tripping, the only EVs I can see really owning are the ones with 800-volt-plus architecture and 100-ish-plus kwH battery packs (or Teslas because of the supercharging stations, I say while holding my nose).

@@markpena6511 they are depreciating like many other 6 figure european cars. The market is slowly shifting back to the old days. Check used Taycan prices. One of the first ones I saw was a 2020 Taycan Turbo S,which probably stickered for around 200K, on the used market for 110K with 6.5K miles.Mind you clean title and 2 owners. Not too difficult to find them.

I have a Model 3 LR and I hate the sun roof. I live in the tropics if you park it in the sun I goes into overheat protection in minuets. I put a max tint on the roof and have the Tesla Sun shades on all the time but it still overheats if I park in the direct sun. Enjoy your new (to you) Porsche Anna.

Congratulations on your Taycan purchase Anna. You got a nice deal. Mine was ordered just before the pandemic hit so it stretched out the delivery a bit. At that time the old EV tax credit was still in force so that helped pay for the big battery. I've had my 4 S for three years. So far so good. It seems to wear out the 19 inch all season tires regularly ( 12K on a front set & 24K on a rear set ). I also have the larger battery and was surprised to see that if you shut off the AC you can get another 30 miles of range which might be helpful if your are in a pinch. I use Innodrive all the time but with the speed limit feature turned off. The surround view is handy as the car is pretty wide. I mostly home charge my car. Personally I wouldn't mess with the suspension as Porsche spent many hours tuning the setup you have on your car. Enjoy

I came back to this video and was cracking up how similar Anna's and my situations were. I just took delivery of my used 2023 Taycan 4 Cross Turismo in Mamba Green for about the same price (Both sticker AND price sold) and with 5k miles. Anna got the heated steering wheel and CPO warranties that I dont have though 😁 It is an absolutely incredible machine. I understand why people hold Porsche in such high regard now.

I’m starting to have a feeling Kyle is a control freak. The way he and Alyssa interacted in the past could be awkward (you’d catch her eye rolls - but he was especially snippy/Zuckerburgian/demeaning a lot of times). I think Kyle is becoming insular with his vehicles/lifestyle. I get he is able/having exceptional privilege and success BUT let’s see his videos not really just living in the rich guy bubble. I owned both the Model 3 {Performance) an the Taycan S. I liked both cars. The Tesla was more comfortable and had more zip to it, but the Porsche looked light years better and had more presence. My only issue with the Taycan were the brakes. It was the worse braking system I had even driven. I was shocked Porsche had such bad brakes but besides that I loved the car.

I find myself watching these channels less and less. So tired of expensive topics, vehicles, endeavors… 90% of your audience can’t afford a Porsche. The advancements and innovation are awesome and should certainly be documented. Kyle is entertaining and a wealth of knowledge. I’ve learned so much and was led to my purchase of an i3. I just wish there was serious content on stretching the limits of affordable EVs. More daring road trips documenting a journey in an EV that’s barely capable and surely compromised. That’s the exciting content I started following OOS for. With all of these expensive displays, I feel income-shamed out of the community.

The reason Porsche have so much inventory is that the industry is running out of early EV adopters. The early leases are ending and no one is picking up the cars. The infrastructure isn't up to standard so people with less money aren't willing to take the chance. The EV market is going to take a massive hit soon as prices crash. Good news for some and not for others.
