Tolu, that producer wasn't looking out for you. They were looking out for the show and the fact that it would have been a bad look if there were no black women on it. That's all that was. If they really had your interests at heart, they wouldn't have tried to get you to stick around on a dating show where you obviously did not have any good, genuine prospects. The show doesn't deserve to have ANY black women on it.

How literally every single (especially Netflix) dating show treats the black women on cast. Like they’re doing them a favor letting them get screen time or just using them as tokens. Never framed as a prize or a sought after woman; always the last choice. Just like Melinda- she’s GORGEOUS but men (like Harry) would rather sneak with her off camera and deny/lie about it as if she’s disgusting and they would never. 😂 when her & Tolu are the most gorgeous women on Netflix reality shows EVER.

Ok, my two cents, pods besties: 1. Tolu makes the best DOM impressions lmfaoooo 2. About DOM switching, I feel like he has changed A LOT since he first started on these shows. Just because he used to be the "nice guy" who got friendzoned or cheated on (ironically, with his so-called 'best friend', who keeps bringing that up and literally mocks him about being the other guy), and now he wants to be a Harry copycat or something? Even going on his podcast laughing, being a douch3 and acting like *the new fckboy* or smnthing. Just weird af. 3. WHY were Tolu and Chris the only ones who were cleaning up and cooking??? lmao they're all kids fr. 4. I have to admit, at some point I trusted Chris. But now, looking back and watching his body language, his non-expressive kisses/responses and all that, I can see he was with her for the clout. He just knew the "right things" to say. Ugh, boo u wh0r3!! Hate that he made tolu take that video with him. Men asking women to give them grace after they give us NONE is such a classic. 5. I loved Xanthi the whole season but after I saw her laughing at Tolu in that interview I don't think I can see her as a girl's girl anymore. Which is so sad, I had hope in her :(( 6. The way almost every guy ghosted their girl and wanted to save face for promo a year later... lmfaooo bye. Hope Tolu really gets more screen time and/or a show as a host! Maybe this is a hot take but I’m confused why the women on these shows think that any of the men are there for genuine reasons? At this point in the reality dating sphere, it seems all these men know to stay on as long as it takes for them to become household names because it brings more romantic prospects. Men on these shows no longer seem genuine (and I say men specifically, because though there are women who are there for the same reasons, it’s overwhelmingly the men who aren’t on there for serious connections). At this point I feel like women joining these shows need to stop getting their feelings involved

Loved every bit of this podcast & absolutely love Tolú. She definitely needs a talking show for sure. I would like to share my wild experience with trusting my instincts about my cheating ex baby daddy. I will be changing names for privacy reasons. I will also include our ages so you guys can see the whole picture play out. I had a strong gut feeling my baby daddy Erik (18) was up to no good on this particular night. First & and foremost, I would like to mention that I (16) was 2 months away from giving birth to our 1st baby when this all went down, so I was really, really pregnant. It was my cousin Jessica's quinceañera & the whole party took place at my mom's house where the house was small, but the side yard was huge to host a lot of people. My baby daddy & I also lived with my mom cause we're teen parents to be. So I noticed Erik & my other cousin Eloise (early 30s, Jessica's older sister) getting along extremely too well this night. They have already met before & had each other's #. Just to show how naive I was at this point. Also, Eloise is a married woman. Her husband Rory (mid 40's) is obviously at the party as well. Something told me to look at my baby daddy's phone. I probably told him I needed to check the time or whatnot. He was drunk, so he had no problem handing me his phone. I quickly checked his text messages & sure enough, I found incriminating text messages between him & Eloise. They were texting I love you to each other & were planning to meet up in our bedroom, where our baby's crib, clothes, & toys were all set up. [[ FYI! Eloise, 3 years prior, did the same to another cousin of ours that also was pregnant. She messed with the baby daddy. She also tried stealing one of our aunt's boyfriend years before that]] I don't remember confronting Erik right away, but I definitely didn't say a word to Eloise. By the end of the party, around midnight, I was told by my mom that Eloise, Rory, & their 2 kids were going to sleep over at our house since they lived in a different county & it was late at night. It was pretty obvious from the get-go that not only were they going to sleep over, but they were all going to sleep in our room since it was the biggest room from the entire house. Erik & I in our bed, while Eloise & her family are on our bedroom's floor. I was completely furious & uncomfortable. I couldn't sleep & somewhere between 1 & 3am, both Erik & I went to the bathroom to talk things out. I honestly thought this was over for Erik & I. While we were trying to argue quietly, we heard someone get up & open the fridge. The next morning, Elosie had mentioned she was so wasted last night & doesn't remember anything & that she got up to get milk for her 1 year old. She obviously knew I found out and was confronting Erik about it. Days later, I was told by another cousin that while I had my head turned away from Erik at the party & while Rory was distracted, Eloise & Erik both gave each other a quick peck. I absolutely blame both but still decided to give Erik a chance. Fast forward to a few weeks after having my daughter. My mother, Erik, & I decided to go to my aunt's (Jessica, Eloise, & Anton's mom) house to bathe my daughter for the 1st time since our bathroom was way too tiny for an infant tub. I didn't know at the moment that my cousin Anton (Jessica's & Eloise brother) had just graduated HS. I thought my aunt was by herself at her house, that's why I didn't see Jessica or Eloise while bathing my daughter. While there, I also decided to shower. As I was putting on my clothes, I hear a whole commotion outside. I see my cousins & Rory & an ambulance outside. According to my baby daddy, this all went down. While I was showering, my cousins had arrived from the graduation, Eloise saw Erik waiting on the couch for me & she immediately went to her husband Rory. Idk what she told him but Rory told Erik that he wanted to have a talk man to man. Erik & Rory both went outside to the alley & for 1 split second that Erik looked away, Rory clocked Erik right in the jaw. I guess Erik must have been out of it that he called for an ambulance. I just still find it disrespectful to both my daughter & I that Rory this buff mid 40 year old ex convict would straight out just punch an 18 year old skinny ass child that literally just had a newborn. There's no excuse for Erik cause I know he's to blame as well for that night, but I obviously didn't want to see him end up in the hospital. I decided to stay with Erik & I ended pregnant again when our daughter was around 6 months old. We broke things off when our son was 2 months old. Fast forward to 4 years later...I am now married to my now husband & had another baby & happy as ever. Next thing you know I get a FB message from Eloise. The audacity of this woman is crazy!! She had the fucking nerve to message me & say 'hey cousin do remember that party where Erik tried to kiss me at?' Rory also messaged me & asked me the same question. I never responded to either of them because a no response is a response. But I so badly wanted to put in my 2 cents there & put her in her place. Rory & Eloise also messaged my sister & our other cousin that saw the kiss & wanted to know exactly who saw the kiss. My sister told me that they wanted to know cause they were in couples therapy. I have her blocked in all social media's. I absolutely want nothing to do with her, even though I have moved on & happily married still GET. AWAY. FROM ME. she absolutely lost my trust & straight out disrespected me. Although I still see her at family get togethers, I just make sure to stay far as possible away from her. All this to say, ladies if you absolutely feel a nasty intuition about your man cheating, absofuckinglutely go FBI his shit. Save yourself from a heartbreak. Give yourself time to grieve the relationship & move on. Be gentle on yourself, it's not your fault, men could be nasty.

Izzy is the kindest man on reality tv but he’s just so unlucky. I hope one day he really finds a good woman. I thought him and Tolu would make things work. Sad they didn’t. Wish them both the best. Thank you for the interview ladies.

Izzy already has a girlfriend and also he's not kind. Did you watch him in Love Is Blind? He's mean. He just looked nice in Perfect Match because he didn't have any control as nobody wanted him.

@@akilahferreira7724 yeah but you’re blaming him for his ex fiancé’s behaviour. Izzy is not mean. He’s genuinely a kind human being. I can respect that you see things differently, but I sadly don’t agree with your perspective.

It’s actually so sad that if you go through a man’s phone, you MUST see something. Either they are flirting with a girl or they are trying to sleep with her or they are already in a full blown relationship.
