Very nice. I like to see this subvariation of the Dutch as an alternative to the standard Leningrad var. One nit to pick in your analysis you suggest 12...Bd8 to defend c7, but White does have the try 13 Ba3 Nb4. True Black is okay but he has been distracted from his main plan of attacking on the k-side! Thanks.

There's a lot to like about this Dutch. My students quickly grasp the synergies between it and the Grand Prix. Many of the thematic GP ideas apply here, but from the black side. It's even clearer than other color reversed openings such as the KIA.

I find it hard to follow the moves at the speed you explain the ideas, im a 1200 player and love chess but the great game isnt so great to follow at 100 miles per hour. love your passion but who are you aiming this anaysis at? h2 h4 e3 a2 etc etc etc at 100 miles a hour might show your talent at reading game but its so fast for low level players who cant follow at these speeds trying to understand match.

2... f5 is already Dutch defense, all white can do is go for the French. Simon has the French in his main repertoire.
