Glad you guys showed off the crafting system can't wait to use it but I did notice when u were talking about the raise level that on the menu it said your maximum level was 25 so I think it would have raised the weapon to level 25 but obviously its just me seeing what the menu said

@@fireshield_fshcr So it always shows you what the max level you can raise something to at the current time you are crafting based on your progression. You still have to upgrade it 1 level at a time though.

I do believe leveling up rares (blue) or lower only costs iron/leather. In theory, it should be possible to find a rare with a mod that you want to use, and the attributes that you want, level it to max using basic materials, then increase rarity to epic. You can also extend this idea as well. Find a green that has the right combination of attributes you're looking for, and Increase it's rarity. Again, this only costs basic resources (iron or leather). If you get a mod you want on it, carry on with the upgrade cycle. If you don't, scrap it and try again with the next good green that comes along.

I believe Titanium can also be acquired from dismantling Epics and Legendaries, which means there's a reason to dismantle those for upgrade material. This crafting system though looks absolutely delicious, especially with all I've seen of how mods and items work in the demo. Also, I just realized something: while leveling up an Epic weapon takes Titanium, leveling up lower Rarity weapons only requires Iron iirc. Which means you can probably get away with leveling an Unusual or Rare weapon, then when you get it to a good enough level you can then raise its rarity.

The captain you killed in the demo dropped titanium so I don’t think it will be a rare resource, will just need to grind it out

Yeah you definitely need to grind it out. You can also buy it from the vendors for a large amount of scrap each. So there are multiple avenues, but it is still very expensive to upgrade things with titanium. End game stuff should help alleviate a bit of it though.

Unless something comes along faster I would figure at lvl 30 speed farming the captain on low world tier for titanium again we dont know how expeditions will pan out yet and pcf have stated we wouldnt need to farm the captain like we have been so hopefully expeditions will give a generous amount.

Still lil confused. Do mods stacks? Example 2x the same mod = more power? Please explain stacking AND how you can focus the power in 1 skill with mods.

No the same mods don't stack. If you use different mods that impact the same ability those work. For example there are multiple mods that effect Twisted Rounds, you can use all of them, but if you apply the exact same mod to different armor pieces they do not stack.

Great Guide. I honestly don't concern myself with scrap (money) I banked about 10k for anything exceptional I may encounter, otherwise everything is dismantled for materials. This mod system is too valuable, I basically ignore the stores.

10K is nothing at the end game unfortunately. You need hundreds of thousands if you want to break into anything once you're pushing expeditions!

Titanium is not hard to farm just do boss battles like spider gives you 30-40 each time (and it dies super fast)

Appreciate the heads up, have you had a chance to combine any of the tier 3 mods on a legendary??? I've been contemplating combining the Killing Spree from Amber Vault with Damage Link from Voodoo Matchmaker.. Chaining together damage on multiple enemies while receiving the dps boost from killing spree would make a pretty amazing crowd control weapon in theory anyways...

SkunkyApe, the TLDR is that the gameplay is decent with interesting enough moment to moment combat, but the story is pretty awful. I think the side missions are much more enjoyable and add just enough of a new layer to make the progression feel interesting. Boss fights are more or less terribly designed. Expeditions however are incredibly fun, and really well made. The game was built for that content, you can tell.

You get more from the vendors. I had the same question so I tested it out to see and you want to sell to right vendors too as far as armor and weapon goes.

I still disagree with weapon and skill life leach, it's basically giving everyone the technomancers unique class passive healing.

Those are mechanics that allow for easier sustain during high end content. This game is strictly pve, and it's a game about a power fantasy. This mechanic hurts nothing when it comes to gameplay, and the base leech on the class is higher, and as such scales higher with these mods, than anything on any single weapon.

Nope! Shards are the true RNG component of the game. I believe they also change when you use the "rarity level up" feature, but that injects a whole host of randomness into the mix with mods.

All the items you farmed and scrapped during the demo, their mods when scrapped automatically go to your mod library. You just cant see your library during the demo.

Correct, you can't stack the exact same mod (which I said in the video), but you can use all of the mods related to a specific ability supercharging that ability.

They are so expensive to buy and having an avenue to snag a legendary reward after tons of hard work for sure we think is an excellent feature. There are only a limited amount available to buy and on a rotation it looks like, meaning there are plenty of legendaries to still chase.

Even if the Armor value is higher I dismantle it cause I can't mod it the way I need. Though that being said I also haven't noticed drops being that much better than WT12, 13 or 14

Mods are character bound. They do not share across accounts, so you have to recollect mods with each character

So I'm using a Quadro card, still pretty high end, and the DLSS was tuned for performance. Everything was great except for this damn hitch in my gameplay every 30 seconds. A lot of the people playing the game had the same issues so it was a bit frustrating, but hopefully it'll be part of the day one patch.
