Video popped up on my page as I was about to meditate, I am glad I watched. You've got some great stuff man. Biggest thing is 100% compounding and pushing through even when you are bored. I never though of it as seasons which is a great way to put it.

Thank you for your kind words! I’m very glad just a simple reframe of the whole concept of boredom was helpful for you :)

I had a similar experience. I was about to listen to music, and I saw this. I was curious. I have been losing motivation recently.

I love the idea of compounding gains - it's incredibly easy to get intoxicated in the "this needs to happen now" thought pattern. I find that creating things is the easiest way to escape boredom and let the things that you know need time, have time.

I’ve never deliberately thought about creating as a way of making it through the boredom, but it makes sense!

The compounding gains vs overnight success, wow, you called me out so hard. I would always sleep happy that I had completed the work, but I always thought, "What if it just blows up, and everything is just popping off the next day?" But this is more of a delusion because real gains come with time, not overnight success.

100%, very important to think of basically any meaningful thing like this. Success is a culmination of all the reps you put in, not just the 1 rep prior to seeing results.

Just the right video at right time. Thinking it as phases is a great idea. Phase of patience. I had recent experience of boredom phase where I was not interested in anything, it felt like never ending but yet that phase is not so intense now. Thanks for sharing experiences.

Thanks for sharing Aakanksha. Yup, from my experience, they tend to be phases.

Hi Tanzeer! Thank you for this reminder that good things takes time (and lots of patience) and that we need to sit/or reflect on our boredom. I haven't thought of boredom as fluctuation periods, thank you for this insights and the time you took to make this video, have a good rest of your day!

Hey! I remember seeing you from Vinh's video :) Keep it up man! Love the perspective on having seasons in our life, it's as if there's always this inertia that everyone has to go through. I've seen that diamond mining picture a lot, but seeing it in this video hit differently. It was just what I needed.

@oliverasante1130 thanks for the comment and hahah yea, I'm in quite a few of Vinh's vids. Awesome to see people are finding the seasons perspective quite refreshing. Glad it's been helping!

@@tanzeerbhuiyan I recently learned from Iman Gadzhi and Alex Hormozi about they cycle of emotional change. Although it makes sense how each stage is inevitable and that I can't cut through them, it's still tough facing it at the moment. I felt that this video was nothing crazy inspirational, but it gave me that needed reminder that what I'm going through is a season. And that's just what I needed.

Tackle boredom by not alleviating it, but by being patient with it until it phases.
