Thank you so much for posting this video, it helped me more than I can say. Your comments about the steps that might be a bit tricky was especially helpful-it actually helped me remain relaxed and not get frustrated. And in fact, in my relaxed state of mind I was able to come up with a shortcut. I actually found it easier to assemble the tubing completely PRIOR to wrapping it around the spool. Although I did get a little stuck trying to attach the bit of tubing for the water bottle. My solution was a pair of tick tweezers… I easily inserted the ultra thin tip of the tweezers into the tubing, then opened the tweezers which stretched the tubing enough to easily attach it to the fitting. Then it was a simple matter of winding the tubing around the spool. Easy peasy. I hope this shortcut helps someone else as much as you helped me 👍

Hi, thank you very much for your video. I have 2 questions about the 56 EX. Can you tell me if there is an alternative for the evaporation blocks? And can you tell me the diameter for the water hose? Pump hose? I think 2x3 or 3x4 mm? Many thanks for your help Greetings Toni

Has the turner motor gear fallen off yet? Keep an eye on it. Brinsea knows about it and want to sell me another assembly. Instead of just sending a gear.

Do you recommend it?

There should be a better method to pump water.

I agree with you. Although this method does seem to work out decently well.

R-com incubators are much prettier and more convenient after all....))

Do you find them better? I'm considering Rcom vs Brinsea right now and it's hard to find comparisons. It seems that Rcom is more hands off but Brinsea might have more bells and whistles, in a way. Any thoughts?
@serge9846Ай бұрын
@@morehn My thoughts are that both on Amazon and from people I know, the reviews on the Brinsea are that it is much less comfortable and less reliable. I have a r com suro right now. And it's been very small for me for a long time now ) For quail, it is suitable, but for chicken and even more so for geese, it is not. I just started looking into Brinsea in the first place because it is much more affordable. But the feedback on them from users I don't like at all. But if you have enough for 50 quail eggs and 20 chicken eggs - I believe the best on the market is the King Suro

@serge9846 wow, I was not expecting that, so I'm glad I asked, and that you answered. I want to hatch goose eggs, but I don't have a huge coop, so I was thinking of the Rcom 20 so I could get 10 goose eggs in there. The Rcom site has a refurbished section, which is where I would buy from so I could save a couple of dollars.

How do you like it? Thinking about purchasing one soon.

I love it so far. compared to my last one where i had to check it and change water/humidity settings every single day, this one hasnt needed any intervention at all in its first 3 weeks of use. Also, I am doing duck eggs primarily and out of 30 eggs only had 3 that didnt develop by day 7, so the hatch rate should be pretty stellar.

@@LaceyFamilyFarm yes I bought the 56ex I love it. I hatched my eggs upright and got 100 percent on my own eggs and from eggs I bought that were shipped all hatched except one

Wow… they’ve really gone up in price since I bought mine. Then right after it was delivered, several of our hens went broody and the incubator sat on a shelf for almost 3 yrs. But times being what they are today, I dusted it off and put it to use for the first time-so I can help friends and neighbors… if need be.

@LaceyFamilyFarm Used 2 x and won't heat or turn. We ordered extra trays so we have quite a bit invested in a plastic box. I called and asked them to send a new top. They wanted me to pay to ship it back so they could inspect it. That's expensive, and I have invested too much in their bad products.
