really enjoy your vids...we are sailing on the Ovation to Hawaii in Oct 2024, seems a lifetime away lol! We did Alaska on the Discovery Princess in May and had the most amazing weather!

Glad you enjoyed the video! We went on a different ship in August and the weather was very similar + there were far more fish in the rivers to view. Both are great times to go.

We are considering an Alaska cruise on this ship. We've only been on NCL ships Bliss, Encore, and Joy. We do like the very casual dress code(none really). Does Royal hold people to a specific dress code all the time, or just for dining? Thanks, we love your videos. Have been watch prior to our first cruise to Alaska in September 2018.

Thank you! Glad you've been enjoying our videos. Royal Caribbean is quite lenient in the MDR. I believe they say shorts are welcome for breakfast and lunch but not at dinner in the main dining room. It's common to see people in fairly casual tops but not tank tops.

If I remember correctly, it is 45 days prior to sailing. I believe it is the night before that at Midnight (EST). Glad you've enjoyed the videos and have a wonderful Alaskan cruise!! 🛳️☀️

If I remember correctly we got the coffee punch card which gives you 15 coffees. We just split the package. I feel like it was a good value, but because we were off the ship for a few of the days, we felt like one was enough. We also drank coffee at the buffet.

We had little plastic card sleeves that we hung on our lanyards. I usually kept it in my pocket though. They did sell lanyards aboard the ship.

We had to do a health check questionnaire but we did not need to give proof of vaccination. Enjoy your cruise!

Glad you found the channel. I do KZbin full time between this channel and my Tech Channel "Northern Viking Everyday". Andrea works for the school so she gets all of the school holidays off. We typically plan our travel around the school calendar.
