I'm an older woman and have been KZbin-learning how to cook. (Don't ask why I'm learning so late in life -- you don't want to hear my drama!) During the course of learning, I've been finding you, AB, as my KZbin-teacher more often than any other KZbin instructor! You make absolutely GREAT food and I greatly enjoy & appreciate your videos! What I like most, is that you do everything with your students/viewers in mind. You're clear about what you're making, not playing guessing games with video titles like "The Best Dinner Ever!" or something like that, that gives no clue as to what is being made. You're all about what you're cooking and don't go off about stuff that isn't relevant. You introduce your recipe and jump right in You are ready to instruct. You have all of your ingredients measured, lined up, and ready to go. AND most of all, you go over the ingredients & their measurements at the start of your lesson. I also like and appreciate it when you talk about the unique ingredients that you use and provide links so that we can try them, as well. You're thorough. You go over everything in a step-by-step manner and when you do something off camera, you mention it. I find that very thoughtful & considerate. Most off all, I greatly appreciate the fact that you provide your recipes in the video description. I like watching you cook without having to stop and backup to write down the ingredients & their measurements. I can focus on the process much better, that way. You are truly a master of your craft. Thank you very much for sharing your recipes and your lessons. And thank you for your recipe books so that I can have your recipes at my fingertips!

Tried it. Loved it. Made one small addition though. I laid down a bed of fresh green beans under the chicken before baking. The beans picked up the seasoning from the chicken, and provided a veggie side with very little added effort. This is, by far,, my favorite cooking channel. Great work, AB!

One of favorite things to cook is a chicken thigh and rice bake. Season the thighs, brown both sides in a hot pot, then remove them. Throw in diced onions, butter, and a good amount of preferred seasonings. Once the onions get translucent, add in chicken broth and rice. Put the chicken thighs back in with the skin side up, cover the pot with top or foil. Once done remove foil or top to broil the skin of the chicken. I make mashed potatoes & gravy also to go along aside too.
