If you build your home next to the railroad, you expect noise and you might see a derailment once or twice in a lifetime.

Out of curiosity, how long have the train tracks been there? Do they predate the homes? If so I think the people are in the wrong. If the tracks were there, and not hidden, the people bought their homes knowing a track was there. Its a different thing if they bought their homes and a track appeared.
@aaronb4936 Жыл бұрын
If you go back in history long enough… you’ll find that the tracks being there IS the reason the town was even developed in the first place. Or canals/waterways but more commonly railroads
@HipHopJunky Жыл бұрын
Most of the time, tracks are there before the towns. It’s harder to build tracks right down the middle of town and city’s that are already developed cause of land rights. And… most towns popped up cause of freight traffic/business.

Rail safety is poor because railroaders can't strike for better safety. Airline pilots can strike for better safety. That's why you seldom see planes crash. And see trains derailments every day...
@frostycools1315 Жыл бұрын
lol safety is poor cos trump removed the safety regulations that enforced speed and safety checks , but biden just reintroduced new legislation to get it back with any luck the repugs will support the bill but unlikely
@KB-nt7eg Жыл бұрын
This is completely false and a terrible comparison. Over 1000 trains derail per year and over 1000 planes crash per year. It has nothing to do with strikes. And I'm not making a comparison to say either is okay. I'm simply showing the fact that you just made up information.

Well, don't you think it's kinda strange with the government? 1st, it was the C-19. Foods and goods that stuck out there on barges out in the ocean. Then the food Processing. plants have started burning and the warehouses. Now we get trained derailments. Make you think.
Why are all these train derailments happening back to back
@DS-nv8bi Жыл бұрын
derailments are not a new thing hearing about them is new. the tracks are older and older without replacement and train crews are down from 3 or 4 to only 2 crew on a train there is talk the company wants to have 1 person running a train that is twice as long as the tracks 100 years age were made to handle
@Yabuturtle Жыл бұрын

Those tracks have been there for close to a 100 years. You live, buy, or move near railroad rights of way you are going to have to deal with the noise. It's like any other business out there, do more with less, and do just enough to get by.
