We all have some level of Death Anxiety. Fear of dying is common to all humans. But we manage to live our lives despite knowledge of our mortality. But some people suffer crippling Death Anxiety and Fear of Dying is constantly in their thoughts. It’s so cool that I felt like maybe I was tripping , until I see there’s a whole community of us 🤞🏽 I am 4 years into my journey of life with Epilepsy , & I am terrified of SUDEP but I don’t let it make me scared to live , I use it as an excuse to live everyday like it’s my last ! We got this 🤞🏽

I know what you feel girl. In my case, I used to get constant seizures as a child that then went away. I also had an extreme fear of death as a child to the point where I used to get small panic attacks, cry a lot, and stomach ache before I went to sleep that eventually went away when I woke up in the morning. I stopped having that fear years ago but it resurfaced some reason this past week and it's killing me to the point where I'm neither eating nor sleeping as much as I should be doing. I am seriously considering talking to a professional. Thank you for your comment. There really is a lot of people like us out there isn't there? Don't worry. We've got this girl.

Mines got worse since having my son. I think it’s the thought of not being able to see him grow or him not having me in his life. I have bad health anxiety as it is and always watch your videos as they help. I’m only 35 so I hope it doesn’t get worse as i get older

My fear originally began with my aunt’s suicide. I had grasped the idea of death by that time (I was 11) but the fact that she died so young scared me. But now I know why she died, she had a lot of mental issues and some other factors I won’t name for her privacy. But it still haunts me to this day. Even when I find a stink bug in my house (they are invasive here) and flush it down the toilet, I feel guilt because the bug doesn’t know it’s invasive and it doesn’t know any better, and it haunts me and makes me think about what it was like for that poor bug to die. Even the death of my one chicken who lived a happy long life for a chicken who was dying. We gave her the best life possible, but her death still comes into my mind.

What I don't understand is why death is even here at all. Why would every living thing, fighting for its survival, decide one day to end forever? I wouldn't see the point of life otherwise because non-living things have a much easier time. It makes me question why I was even born at all.

Same here, for some reason, the universe just decided we need to die. But, there doesn't always have to be an answer to everything that happens, that's just what people are wired to do, to find meaning in everything that happens for some reason..

I think the idea of an afterlife dismisses death completely. At a viewing, people will look right at a dead body and say their not really there, thats just a shell, their "somewhere else." Basically, their physical body has been replaced with a spirit body, and life goes on...that's not death. Biological cessation means you can't think, feel, or miss your children. Your memories, your personality, everything, is all in your brain, and being dead means being brain dead. That is why death is terrifying, its very final. My only comfort is i think you simply lose contiousness, and thats it, you wont know what happened. Being dead will be like being unborn.

Good afternoon, I'm from Indonesia, doc. Permission to ask a doctor. I hope he can give you instructions regarding the diagnosis of my complaint 🙏🙏. So sis, I first got this from the doctor when I was having coffee with a friend on an empty stomach at that time, because I'm an active person who socializes and socializes wherever I dare, but when I was drinking coffee and smoking, suddenly my heart suddenly started to get worse. I felt like I was falling, I immediately felt uncomfortable, uncomfortable, immediately I remembered people who had heart attacks, suddenly I panicked and cried because I felt uncomfortable, I was afraid, until I panicked, afraid of heart disease too, until my blood pressure rose 180 at that time, starting from that moment. That's when I started to be afraid of going anywhere, feeling dizzy, afraid of gatherings, afraid of going to the mosque, afraid of having my blood pressure measured, afraid of going for coffee, afraid of going far, afraid of being in crowds. Just when I was planning to go, I was already nervous, starting to get tense, restless, and my mind started making up all kinds of things, afraid of it happening again and afraid of fainting and dying suddenly, in the end I was always lying at home, lazy about meeting people, lazy and not productive anymore, afraid of having a chronic disease, afraid of heart disease, afraid of kidney disease, afraid of dying, my body will be weak, lethargic, have no energy, every time I meet people or chat I immediately become tense, uncontrollably anxious. chaotic mind unfocused. Every day checking the condition of the body, counting the pulse, checking the color of urine and feces, losing weight. Basically, it's tiring to the point of feeling uncomfortable and every day I'm anxious and panicked if there's a strange sensation. If you see symptoms that are similar to a chronic illness, you keep thinking so much that you worry and sleep is disturbed, even at the start I can't sleep until my vision feels strange, like I'm not at one with myself. The feeling is only good when I'm alone and at home. Even though I am an active social person, doc. But I'm not congested, my stomach ache isn't sore and my stomach is fine. Hopefully the doctor can provide enlightenment regarding my complaint 🙏🙏

Hi i have a question. In december i had my first panick attack. After that i felt fine for a couple weeks when i got another. After the second one i kept having heart palpitations and other side effects of anxiety. Not too long after my second panick attack i woke up with pain in my eyes. The insides of my eyes were swollen and blood vessels in my eyes started showing. I also started having extremely dry eyes. I wondered, can my eye problems be the result of my anxiety?
