Feeling old, lonely, sad, anxious, hopeless. I meditate with many videos. Sometimes it brings on more tears. Sometimes calms me for a bit. All I can do is cope.

I started this meditation trying to heal inner wounds and trying to focus on fear. However throughout it I felt physical and mental anger, nothing consciously triggered it, what could have happened?

Beautiful ❤ QUESTION: HI David I told you that I have chronic pain ok and Dr Sarno figured out what is the cause ok he says suppressed emotions they are stuck in the body the subconcious mind isputting the alarm on and sending you these pain sensations there is nothing structural wrong it is a mistake so the job to do is to teach the brain that you are safe. Now you need consistency patience and always respond calm ok. Now I have been listening to your teachings a lot these days and I am asking you that if it is possible that these sensations increase a lot because my inner Child is listening and doesn't want me to change so my inner Child is protesting so that my pain is increasing a lot????????? I hope you can and will answer because my pain is very colourful and sky high ???? Sending you much love ❤️ ♥️ 💜

It's possible that as you start addressing these emotions, your inner child may indeed resist, leading to increased sensations. This resistance is a natural response to change. Remaining calm, consistent, and patient, as you mentioned, is key. Continue to reassure yourself and your inner child that you are safe. The notion "something is wrong with me" sometimes is real enough. For example people who have dyslexia, autism, hyperactivity or another very real syndrome are very much in disadvantage. The same with people who have physical problems. What about these cases?
