Cozens has stepped up in a huge way the past couple of games. He deserves a shout out for that. He’s actually looking like a workhorse again. Power had a couple of bad plays last night. Some mental mistakes from him that I don’t want to see repeated from such a talented player. McLeod has earned a place in our top 6. Enough said.

Agree totally on McLeod. When Thompson is back in the lineup, McLeod's line should be elevated to #2 (maybe with a tweak on the wing) and Cozens line should be dropped to #3 until they can start to be an offensive threat and play better in their own end. Cozens and Quinn are both at -5, the worst of all the forwards on the team. I don't think Cozens rough start is all his fault...Quinn isn't helping him at all at this point and he often looks/acts like he's lost his game entirely at this point. Combined, Cozens and Quinn total 4 goals and 4 assists on the season thus far...obviously numbers that are nowhere close to of 2nd line status.

@ Quinn and Peterka do best when they play together but I don’t want to nerf Peterka’s game for Quinn’s sake.

Yep. He played well last night...team didn't help him any with the way St. Louis schooled them in the 2nd period, but he can't sit at his age for or 4 games or so without action and stay sharp. Last year showed what having him spend time in The Roch can do for him and his overall play. Now that Reimer is back in the fold Levi should go back to the Amerks for playing time. Practice isn't enough at this point in his development.

levi should have been sent down first anyway it was dumb of adams to do that especially after reimer bought a house in buffalo once signed
