They still beat the trashy sabres 😂😂
@mateoshullio16283 күн бұрын
They will, everyone is panicking after 1 damn game. They are 5th in the division and 2 points behind 3rd. Every team has a bad night. They beat St. Louis philly and LA that’s 10-8-1 then you have ducks and sharks 12-8-1 5/6 games are winnable but we will probably go 4-1-1 so 11-9-2 not that bad considering where they were 2 seasons ago with a losing record after November and even December
@jimmyhockey3 күн бұрын
I think it’s more so about the team starting out the same way every year and never managing to go on a run. Buffalo is not in the same class as the ducks and sharks they are much further ahead in their rebuild and should be showing that on the ice at this point. No need to panic but definitely worth paying attention to
@mateoshullio16283 күн бұрын
@ I appreciate the video about us. Buffalo will make the playoffs very soon once they find consistency. I’m hoping we do it this week with two opponents who are not so hot or playing like us
@senkofamКүн бұрын
They are kinda showing a difference. It does take like 15-20 games to figure out the system the coach has you playing. We will see how December goes they have a ton of games in december.

Terry pegula. If the leadership doesn't care about winning how can we expect the players to care? They still get paid win or lose

Fair point, culture in Buffalo hasn’t been great for a long time

As an upstate NY Sabres fan... this hurts. AGAIN. I was soooo high on this team coming into the season. No consistency at all. Luckily we have the Bill's starting out 8-2, their best since 93'.
@jimmyhockey3 күн бұрын
Bills look amazing. For the Sabres don’t give up just yet, this team is still really young. Sometimes patience is hard to have with a team that had missed playoffs for 13 years but let’s see how the year pans out

Everyone calm down, don't be emotional. They just won 3 in a row. They're still adjusting to a new system and had THREE players leave the game yesterday with injuries. Consistency will come, they already look way better than they have in the past. LETS GO BUFFALO

Jimmy, I’ve been a fan since I was a kid (sorta) I jumped back on board two years ago when it looked like the nightmare was ending. Tonight we stand in an ok position overall, but Tage is rumored to be hurt bad. I haven’t even followed the team for this long and it hurts so bad Do you have any words of comfort?
@jimmyhockey3 күн бұрын
Patience with this team, they are still young and will get better. That’s the best advice I have just enjoy the games

Any team would play well under Ruff's system. Problem is, it's not sustainable game in, and game out. Come playoff time? Yes, his system will work. As the Sabre's are right in the mix now, one must be patient and enjoy the ride...
@jimmyhockeyКүн бұрын
It's very matchup dependant but they have the talent to run his system each game. It's all about development right now in Buffalo and getting players to play up to their potential
@larrybarge33452 күн бұрын
The playrrs buffalo brought in are playing better then some of the ones who have been heret..I would trade Power for a playmaking 2nd line forward with speed.
@jimmyhockeyКүн бұрын
I don't think the Sabres would be willing to trade Power, they just signed him and definitely won't give up on him that soon. Byram would be the player they move if they wanted to acquire some forward help like we talked about
@larrybarge3345Күн бұрын
Yeah cant see them trade power and his contract was a huge overpayment,Byrum would be cheaper and hes better then Power.Power would vring a bigger return for sure.If i was gm he would be gone with the right deal.Powers to soft and doesnt pay attention to opposing players around net

Head coach and General Manager....check. Why no Team President /Director of Hockey Operations etc. as a third voice in the room? Terry's wife ran Pat LaFontaine off and we have never recovered....period.

they need to start the rebuild already 😁

A 3rd rebuild under Kevyn Adam’s is very unlikely

I hate to say, Bringing Lindy back is not going to help at all.
@bjarczyk2 күн бұрын
How? Lindy is extremely detail oriented and smart as hell. It’s on the young players to play the right way.
@jimmyhockeyКүн бұрын
Lindy will help players be more consistent and provide the team with some structure, don't underestimate a coach who has been around the game for a long time
@stevenmiller63413 күн бұрын
It's all about the owners There are times they allow the coach to coach the team Every year after the tread dead line the owners have the team play like crap. Then when find out they are not going to make the playoffs they play much better
@jimmyhockey3 күн бұрын
I don’t think the owners are impacting the coaches much. The inconsistency is why they brought in Lindy Ruff. He is more of a hard nosed coach who focuses on the X’s and O’s, could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how the young guys respond to his voice and system

Don't forget about Oreilly! They draft players well but their development team and overall team culture/structure is not great

It's not really their fault when the talent pool was destroyed by non-stop expansion drafts. They're overpaid children with no talent. Just a bunch of conditioned athletes with no real reason to be in the NHL compared to previous seasons. People who pay for this substandard product and support the corporatism of the NHL deserve to watch garbage. The NHL is geared for sustainability. The GMs want the rules to keep their players healthy and numerous so they can have as many teams as possible while providing the least entertainment for the most money. The teams who secured talent in the last 10 years will dominate the remaining minor league teams. The NHL has mostly become the minors.
@Remmy09303 күн бұрын
"Nonstop" expansion? The Golden Knights and Seattle constitutes "nonstop" expansion? All the others were just relocations. 2 expansion drafts didn't hurt the product. Usually expansion drafts cause the NEW teams to have a bottom dwelling team for a while... the complete OPPOSITE happened with Vegas and Seattle. Vegas won a Cup and has been contending since they entered and Seattle made the postseason their first year. Teams claim who they want, and the REST become available for the expansion teams. The product on the ice is also the best it's been in years right now. The talent is crazy good. We've had a generational talent in Bedard just enter the league and a bunch of other really good players like Celebrini and Michkov. The biggest issue with the league is no tax states getting a huge advantage and LTIR. Other than that last season was one of the most successful and exciting seasons/postseasons the NHL has had in a long time. Hockey is in a good place right now.
@bennettbaty59053 күн бұрын
It’s not always about what we want. The league, management, and the majority of the players like safer rules. As far as expansion it’s good for the league and the future of hockey. I would have never watched hockey or cared about it if my city didn’t get a team. Also the teams are more talented then they’ve ever been in history. Also seattle has a top 5 prospect pool despite being in the league for 4 years
@hoskins6663 күн бұрын
@@Remmy0930 utah also sucked up some "talent" despite not having a draft so really they had a draft passively, don't try to worry your brain about it
