Sat Nam Mariya, thank you for this beautiful life giving opportunity (Yoga for Mental Health.) I experienced horrific trauma 25 yrs ago at age 45 and 3 yrs ago I had a bout with it again with new trauma . today I am 60 yrs. I had my first experience with yoga in my late 40's. and began practicing in my 50's. Due to all the trauma 3 yrs ago my body was truly effected and I've had extreme sciatica issues a little over a year. I have been doing every to improve healing, hea lth and wholeness, mentally, physically, spiritually except this kundalini yoga. This is my 2nd day and there has been a beautiful transformation since I've been doing other work. I'm ready to begin life again and look forward to a new career or service. Thank you and my gratitude immensely for this free jewel as I am not working yet. You and your team are a blessing beyond measure. Sat Nam Lisa

Thank you. I have signed up. I am in a Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training. I have addictions, depression and lots of anxiety which not only causes me an unhappy life, but I also feel a bit of a fraud as who am I to teach Yoga with all that going on. Happy to be here and hoping I can do it for 40 days straight. Wahe Guru!!!

Sat Siri Akal! I have been practicing Kundalini Yoga for a long time, took level 1 0:59 teacher training in 2016, when my practice was interrupted by difficult events in my life and physical and mental health issues. I just found your series and I loved my first session. So gentle and supportive. I am a social worker and I am dealing with my own mental health issues and those of my clients . I work full-time and have no time or energy to go to classes at a yoga studio. This is why I am loving your sessions which I can do at home. Thank you Mariya. I feel a connection to you as the perfect teacher I need right now. I am a 34 year old man who got covid at end of July. Busy entrepreneur with a successful business like you. I am dealing with lingering brain fog, anxiety, depression issues. Lots of life stressors on top of the virus causing some lingering neurological symptoms. Not much yoga experience here. Palming the 3rd eye and seeing the light brought tears and I am not a cryer. Putting fingers interlaced behind head and bringing legs up had me shaking uncontrollably before things started to balance a bit. Your instruction was great, answering questions as they came up in my head. Thank you. Looking forward to the rest.

@@Kundalinilounge just finished day 7 and I'm going back and referencing your beginner videos. Thank You! Also if we are able to, can we do 2 sessions in a day? Either repeating the same session or doing say day 7 and 8 together? I would like to do one in morning and at night.

@@interestingtimes182 Sure, you can do two sessions a day. I'd suggest following this program one practice at a time but you can always combine with a different practice or you may choose to do the same practice twice a day. 🙏

I recently have noticed I have tension on the sides of my head and around the face and it brings in depression. So I was guided to do a massage on the head at different times of the day. And this came up and so grateful. Thank you beautiful soul 🦋

Thank you Marina. I did the 40 day weight loss Kriya and then 40 days of 10 bodies. I love the strength I now have in my body. Starting a bit later with this challenge then you all but loved the first day and the new things in this one which is refreshing. I loved the third eye massage! Sat Nam beautiful yogi 🙏❤️

Give yourself time :) you will get there. I would also suggest if you want to add the weight loss series in addition to the mental health series to combine a more physical practice with more meditative one.

Satnam. I had been searching for this over past few weeks on internet. Nd this is where my search concluded. Ur videos give me peace. Today was my day 1 of practice. My body is stiff and I could not do 2 kriyas with the leg postures properly. But i nevertheless felt great at the end of the 30 mins routine.

@@Kundalinilounge I was doing this challenge at the same time as trying to solve some back pain issues. I got frustrated at my lack of progress pain wise and stopped at 12 days, I believe. :( I was really enjoying the mental benefits so I need to do it anyway even if it wasn't helping my back.

Ahhh! Sat nam! Just finished. Lovely practice and new exercises Ive never tried. Loved the light during the 3rd eye scrub :) also several energy waves in heart chakra during sa ta na ma. I just recently added daily energy exercises & an eye energy routine, which includes cheek bone tapping among others things, but Ive never done the massage. Very nice & relaxing. Thanks!

Sat nam! You are an amazing teacher, thanks for so much. The last pose cost me work, I could not bear to have my arms up for a long time and I experienced pain in the back, even I felt how my chest closed and it was difficult for me to breathe, I had to lower my arms and meditate with closed eyes. Any recommendation, please

I am so excited to do this 100 day journey..for many reasons. My question is what exactly are the words you are chanting in the beginning. I am relatively new to kundalini yoga, and I can’t completely understand what you are saying. Thank you.🙏🏽

Hi, Sharon! The words are - Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo. Ong Namo means, "I bow to the Divine wisdom of All That Is." Guru Dev Namo means, "I bow to the Divine teacher within." This mantra helps center the practioner for asana or meditation practice and reinforces the connection to the Divine within and universally.

This was beautiful! The asana with the legs up 60 degrees was really to heard for me, the both examples! Thank You so much anyway I did my variant with the legs! I am not at all depressed but this is also good for worrie amd stress as I sometimes feel.

It is a nice video. Part of my trauma is I was hit by a drunk driver in a cast and crew shuttle at work. So after 2.5 years of physical therapy there are many things I can do but every single stretch up to 23 minutes and when I finally decided that I should probably just stop, was an exercise at my physical therapist has told me I could not do. So it is difficult to heal. I have other trauma that creates more mental pain and anxiety and typically there are any movements that I am aware of as having been a dancer for years that would help me to release a lot of energy as well but That is a lot of the mental pain is not being able to do things that I used to do. Although I cannot do any of the exercises in this video I still somehow I have a full range of motion to be able to do the splits. I just can’t bend backwards or move my head at all other than right or left a little bit. However I did enjoy the facial massage and that did relieve a lot of tension. I have just gotten back into yoga after abstaining from almost a year of not doing it. A lot of these yoga videos prompt me to do things that aren’t beneficial for my personal trauma including having several herniated discs so I spend a lot of the time just trying to go around it or make up a pose I can do. So it seem better to just work privately considering my knowledge of yoga, stretching, and my situation. 🙏

Kundalini Lounge with Mariya So I finally started the program. Feeling better already! Thx. There are a few things I would like to work on namely procrastination, addictive behavior and paranoia. Now, the first two I already have plenty of material to deal with them, I just need the discipline to practice. As for paranoia, you already filmed a kriya for it a couple years ago, but the quality was not optimal, yet the exercices are very powerful so it would be great if you could include some of them in the series.
