If a customer says they're selling their home in a few months, how do you move forward with a potential sale?

For areas where utility prices are low or the home owner doesn't plan to live in the house for greater than 5 years, would you still recommend them to get solar? If so, how? I can see solar not being attractive for those who know they won't be in the house super long term.

For cases like this, I would just tell them straight up “don’t buy Solar because of the numbers I’m showing you on the spreadsheet. Go Solar if this is something you believe in. If you believe in being independent having clean energy, then go for it. But don’t do it just based on these numbers I’m showing you on the screen”

I was quoted $130,000 for a 20k solar system on a 2700 square foot home with gas furnace. It’s getting out of hand on the prices.

I believe a lot of the concern is not the cost it’s putting holes in your roof with the potential of it leaking
