But it is wrong of her to do so if the kid didn't know any better because the parents never taught him/her. Pubescent teens in middle school/junior high are naive so it's the parents' responsibility to monitor them. If I ever have kids, I'll make sure they watch all these videos so they're fully aware of all the dangers. Sort of like a "Beyond Scared Straight" thing.

This actually happened to me. As a teenage girl, there are so many ways that boys can hurt you without you even realizing how much damage it can do. My ex boyfriend and I had been together for a few months and things were completely innocent, but one night things got a little bit more intense and I opened a text from him saying "Hey can I ask u something?" and I replied with "sure" and he continued to say " Could u send me a few pics?". I felt really uncomfortable, to the point of where I wanted to cry. I said I wasn't sure if I felt comfortable doing it, and he continued to pressure me into it. I repeatedly said no, and even apologized because I knew how badly he wanted them. After 20 minutes of debate, I agreed but on the conditions that after he viewed them that they would be deleted. I then sent him the photos which he did not delete as I had asked. He saved them and at that moment the situation was no longer in my control. From an outside perspective it doesn't seem like it would be that big of a deal, but when you have to experience the discomfort of the situation it truly makes your stomach churn. I begged him to delete them, and finally he agreed. A few weeks later he and I were in an argument because he thought I had been talking to his best friend. Despite me proving to him that I hadn't been he still went on. As a "payback" for me "talking" to his best friend, he posted the photos to his social media accounts. Saying "what a slut she sent me nudes". I was devastated. I laid on my bedroom floor in tears, because someone who claimed to love me had completely betrayed my trust, and had proven that they were not afraid to hurt me. Because of his stupidity and disrespect I am now slut shamed, called, thot, hoe, and other things that wear on my self esteem. Its time that people take action towards this because it is a more common and serious issue than it is cut out to be.
