Nice man! I was curious how quickly you were able to edge with the attachment you have. Holy Crap at 32:00!

Wyatt's lawn service Not terribly long on regular maintenance, but these overgrown ones take a while! ;)

Copper Creek Cuts haha I bet! I had one of those this year... Not so much fun! But I felt a sense of accomplishment after the job was completed :)

What edger did you use?

Some real tough sledding there, but very satisfying. Clean lines replace overgrown chaos!

In the future, you may want to purchase a walk behind edger. If you didn't want to buy new, you should be able to find a good used one on craigslist. I bought a Troy-Bilt 3.5HP Edger, 2 years ago for $100. I use it on overgrown edges and use the edge attachment to maintain. Saves the wear and tear on your trimmer power head.

I will look into that! I bet it saves some wear and tear on the body as well! Do you find it can get the job done quicker as well? Or does it balance out since it is slower to maneuver? Interested to hear your thoughts!

Does edging before the snow comes, I live in Minnesota, around the driveway help snow shoveling when it comes to getting around the edges?
@CopperCreekCuts4 жыл бұрын
I'm in Florida, so you are asking the wrong person.
@randombytes4 жыл бұрын
If the grass or weeds are long and thick over the walkway where youre trying to shovel then yea it would be best to edge so youre not scraping against the grass and making it harder (especially if there is dirt under the grass on the walkway), though if you been edging all summer then you may only need to do it once or twice in the fall and none during winter, though there are various of factors such as location, type of grass, if there is any weeds (eg mainly crabgrass), how much it rains, etc.

6:42 gotta be careful. I know you looked back but the sun is in the driver's eyes as they pass you.

Yeah, I will admit that was sketch town for real. I will have to figure out something safer for next season, maybe full size road cones and a safety vest to boot.

Nice edging! Question: everytime I edge my lawn, my edger kicks out a ton of dirt. I dont see that happening with yours, why would my edger do that?
@CopperCreekCuts6 жыл бұрын
Depends a lot on your property and soil. There are some yards I do that kick up a TON of dirt as well. Especially in sandier yards, which we have a lot of in Florida. Great question! :)

You might be going too deep with the blade.

Do you edge every cut or only when it needs it..
@CopperCreekCuts7 жыл бұрын
I personally edge every time during the summer. Seems like just that short amount of time is enough that it needs it locally!
@CopperCreekCuts7 жыл бұрын
That makes it sound like I skip edgings during the summer, haha. Yes, I edge every cut no matter what.
@paulmalatesta32227 жыл бұрын
I was just curious you do it excellent and great job

Close! It is one of the local fire stations. I volunteered to take care of the front for them so they don't have as much to worry about on their 'on duty weekends'.

Copper Creek Cuts Fire fighters too busy to mow and edge? Have you ever seen their personal vehicles? They're spotless from all the extra time they have. Just kidding, they do great work. But seriously, they all clean their vehicles at work.
@CopperCreekCuts7 жыл бұрын
aguyandhiscomputer Haha, I haven't seen them do that yet! Although I will say that makes sense, since they have those nice big bays to pull them into....hey maybe I can rinse off the mower there after a cut?! ;)

another great video. has things slowed down much in these "winter" months? I did my last lawn 2 days ago so i am done unless i get something new :(
@CopperCreekCuts7 жыл бұрын
Oh yes they have. Doesn't help I only have a handful of clients. Their yards have been dormant for a few weeks now, so I don't have anything on the books! Nice to take a break though! ;)
