They can help to stop the bleeding with the use of pressure to some degree. I carry regular gauze instead as you can pack it in better for more pressure.

Nice catch...I have a small office space that we used for a surgical quality project in 2017. Since I only use the office for sleeping and filming, I haven't changed the calendar. All my On Call With Chris vids shot here have the same calendar in the background.

I would have to disagree with the comment about the brain - I know a few people who only use 10% of their brain (or less)!!
