Love camping in the Flat Tops area, one of our favorite spots for fly fishing. I know that first campsite and wondered if it would be a good place to pop up a tent, seems like a winner for sure. Funny enough I just met those dogs, white horse and enough of those sheep this past Aug. Y'all really nailed it on that second campsite. You did this trail some justice for sure. Have to admit, every time I see an XJ off road I get sad about selling mine. Cool video for sure, keep them comin'!

Subbed for XJ content and puppers. I’m from CT and made it up to the flat tops this past august, and had the best time. We too encountered a ton of sheep! Those sheepdogs are called “Maremma” and they are so impressive. We wheeled up to Adam’s lake and spent a night there, and it was the nicest campsite we’ve ever stayed at. Don’t ever forget how lucky you are to live out there, and be so close to all these incredible trails!!

I think that same flock came into our camp last summer. We were in camped on a different lake close to that area. They came in and settled down eating all the flowers. I had to put our 2 dogs in the camper.

Hey Ron I have a cool idea for you. Try to use your drone to take your lure and line way out further than you can cast and rig up some sort of drop from the air feature. lol I have not idea how but that would be epic.

If you add dry French onion soup mix to your meat instead of other seasoning, you will get another flavor that’s amazing, I usually use Swiss or provolone cheese. I’ll use Muenster cheese when I’m feeling special. They’re really good on wheat buns, or buns from a grocery store’s bakery section.

Thank you! This jeep the worst on gas, usually 12mpg/250miles to a tank on shorter trips. We’ve seen 15mpg on some longer trips though.
