Overlanding in a remote section of Oregon at an abandoned cattle ranch

We visited the Historic Shirk Ranch in the Southern High Desert of Oregon. Very creepy and weird but an awesome place to visit and apart of the old west US history

Now that was a great stop! You need a Ouija board in that house.😄 There are two subspecies of Western rattlesnake in Oregon, the state's only venomous snake. The Northern Pacific subspecies can be found in southwestern Oregon, in the middle and southern Willamette Valley, and in the Columbia Plateau, while the Great Basin subspecies hangs out in south central and southeastern Oregon.✌️

Welcome y'all, to southeast Oregon. Don't mind the zombies, they don't eat too much. Next time you come through Oregon on US 20 you should stop at the Ponderosa Hotel in beautiful Hines, Oregon. The amenities aren't the most modern and the rooms are a bit drafty, but the rates are very reasonable. Don't worry about checking out because you can never leave... 😁
