This video popped up in my recommended so I started watching because I live in SC. Didn’t look up the SCAR before watching. Had to pause the video at 13:16 because I know that spot! Park my truck up by there often and hunt that little WMA. That area is known for its unique granite outcrops. There’s a really cool old plantation house with massive granite columns just off the planned route in Stoneboro. Should check it out if you do it again

Hey Coodiwhomple. I mentioned to you before that I loved your videos. It has put a spark in me to want to do what you all do. So In November I made a deal with my wife and myself. If I drop my weight down to 350 by April 22 my wife will get me a Overlander Nomatic 3. I watch your videos every day while on the treadmill. 1 time at 3am before work and 4pm after work. As a native South Carolinian that has watched you guys travel all over this great country, it was interesting to see my home state from your perspective. Although I was raised in Greenville, SC, I spent over 20 years in Moncks Corner, right on the edge of the Frances Marion NF and have driven some form of Jeep or 4x4 F150 on most every road in the forest. We are now retired and living in western NC, very close to where you began the route. Excuse the litter in SC, it is one of our largest embarrassments.

They told us no RV, car, or Van. They said if your in or on your vehicle you cannot disperse camp. Dispersed camping is for tents that are able to be packed into the woods so many feet from the road. I can't remember how far he (the ranger said). Cause we seen some great spots.
@JEEP-N-DIRT2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to see the folks in the red jeep getting some upgrades, but at the risk of sounding sarcastic (and I don't buy any means), what's up with those jugs on the fendors and that propane tank in the roof sticking up as a branch hanger?? That's just really unsafe. Typical overland mounted normally have those protected behind like the rack bars, or anything else.
@CoddiwompleOverland2 жыл бұрын
JT, they use the jugs on the side to carry water. While maybe not the most stylish to some, they serve a purpose. As far as the propane goes, I would also put it in another location to better protect it also but, it's not my rig.
