I was in Geraldton, AUS recently for 2 weeks and saw so many overland Toyotas. Being from the Los Angeles area I was blown away at the vehicles and the people. I have a new appreciation for the Hilux and Land Cruiser now. Looking forward to your new journey.

Every man and his dog has one. Unfortunately there are a lot of families that buy them just for carting the kids to school. I’m just down the road in Perth. Toyota built them here for Aussie conditions for the thousands of kilometres of dirt tracks we commute on.

Hey overland lady I'm so glad to see you have a 100 series landcruiser again. Watching your videos was the inspiration behind me getting my Land Cruiser. Its a 1999 LC with the rear locker. And it's a fun mild overland build. Please keep posting content we've missed it a lot.

Have you ever been in a situation where you see a friend get a new job, a new partner or move to a different town and you get the feeling that it's just not right for them? They seem happy, and they seem like they're okay with their situation so you're supportive... but you still have the feeling that there's something wrong. I watched this video and that feeling went away.

This is exciting. I go over landing in my 94 Chevy blazer K 1500 and watch your videos on my phone while laying in the back. I don’t do it as well as you. Basically just an air mattress in the back with some cooking gear. You are my main inspiration for the adventures. Are used to not go camping because my days off or during the week when all of my friends are working. After watching your videos I started solo camping and love it.

It is crazy for me to see how long it has taken you to get back to your "normal " life. I was involved in a car accident at age 27. I was very seriously injured. Both ankles crushed, various plastic puncture wounds throughout my face and neck, concussion and ultimately I died from the shock. I was bed ridden for over a year. I physically healed after the year relearning how to walk and function. I have lived in severe pain for over forty years now since as as aftereffect. I could have lived my life in fear of driving, in self pity for my pain, in so many negative ways that would have diminished my quality if life. Instead I thank my higher power for being alive and look forward to each day with a heart full of wonder for all the little gifts we all receive each and every day. I am not trying to be a negative in your life but you seem to be wasting time on the past and not being greatful for your current and future life. You had such a want to explore life, nature, and more. It's still out there waiting for you all you have to do is reach out grab it and go. I was left with limits and could no longer do many things I used to. I learned to fill in my empty spaces and live and enjoy life. I envy that you can return to your life on the road out exploring the world. Your a great videografer and story teller. Please for those of us that live vicariously through you get well and get back to filling our lives with the places you go and your impressions of then. Sorry to be so long in this. You go girl!!!!👍

Thank you for telling me your story. I admire your strength and the road to recovery. My struggle is more so the longing to a past person (Altar). As for driving again, I believe Im ready. The reason for not being on the road, partially was the lack of a reliable vehicle. Partially was because of something im busy with currently. Perhaps I’ll mention in the next video so to fill in the gap on this. Im not an easy quitter. And the dream chase is what kept me busy these days. You’ll see😉

Amazing story, and well said. Courage, strength and positive attitude are keys to recovery. Always rewarding for a reader to read about incredible will power of people who tackle adversity. I'm keeping these thoughts in mind as I labor ( positively ) the trials of fighting the infamous malady of cancer for the last six months. Witnessing people worse off than me and "feeling" their incredible strength is not only humbling but reassuring to the human experience. Well said.

Yep, new it what took you so long, so we go full circle, the journey begins again, I know the feeling of getting back into the saddle, literally, new motorcycle same model just new, but man three times along the same section the accident happened before i could open the throttle to the stop and blow through the accident site.

The OEM front grill looks so much better. Sometimes you do scratch your head and wonder what went through the person's mind when he/she decided to remove the original grill and replace it with the one you just removed.

OMG - you've adopted another abused orphan, what a big heart. That suspension re-fit to OEM is gonna be pricey...the prior owner may have been a cheap charlies! BTW, Ill make a wild guess that whoever put that ghetto grill on the front was responsible for the pervasive ganja smell requiring air freshners :)
