PreRunners Blow Our Minds at Ocotillo Wells

JD Fabrication was nice enough to take us out to the Ocotillo Wells desert to have our first proper Prerunner experience. Our minds were completely blown. We got to ride in a couple Toyota Tacoma's and a super unique Trekker, as well as a Ford F-150 and Ranger that don't have many original parts left on them. These prerunners had tons of suspension travel, and big LS power.

I do rather like the different perspectives thrown in and wouldn't have minded seeing some with the trucks roosting/flybys closer but I know it's a dirty job and I'm not the one doing it! Below someone else mentioned the music. If not the engine noises, maybe keep the music genre consistent throughout (lo fi hip hop into trap/mashup). Changing the music often during the video kinda changed the mood. I liked the first half video but the music style was a bit too soft for that womp womp. All that said, looks like a great time and better than any video I could make. Keep up the great work.

Nothing is as cool or bad-ass as a Pre-Runner. I would rather take a Pre-Runner out for a boot in the desert than take a Ferrari out on a racetrack.

The first shot is just a gopro 11 black. The first truck shots are on a Mavic 3 pro drone, a Canon R5 with a Ronin gimbal and there are also some Sony FS7 shots in there as well.

Why did they use other trucks to bring their trucks to desert lol? Those trucks cant be driven on regular roads or what?

driving a prerunner for 4 hours on the highway is uncomfortable, uses a ton of gas (most of these guys get 3-5mpg) and puts wear on really expensive parts. Plus if you end up breaking something out in the desert, there's no way to get home.
