Stunning. Love the fit and appreciate the tip about not snipping into the fabric at the top of the vent to maintain the integrity of the seam. Thank you.

This tutorial about an easy method to add overlapped vents is so helpful! Your Sybil maxi is beautiful and I'm looking forward to seeing your red LN mini capsule. Thank you, Karina!

Karina, thank you for the tutorial. Never thought I would get to this point where I want to customize my patterns! I tried out your Allegro skirt hacks and they turned out so cute. Wore the skirts all summer. Will try adding a vent. Love your previous makes and it was nice to see modelling them.

Karina, this is a great video so thank you and I feel confident now doing a vent. I’d also love to know how to do a vent with a lining.

I'm going to be lengthening an A-Line and thought a back vent might be needed for me. Great timing! I have to decide if an overlapped back vent of just 4 in (10 cm?) would be silly. I'm only 5' 2".

What top are you wearing? I missed it if you said. At first I thought it was a smart looking jacket with a colorful blouse peeking out! So gorgeous and then after enlarging the picture and taking a closer look I see it’s all in one! Beautiful! The black and white appeared to be a wool at first!

It’s funny you say you’re a straight skirt person, because I’m not. I’ve sewn them, I’ve worn them, but I’ve never been comfortable in them especially when sitting. I want my skirts to be at least as full as a flared skirt. An A line isn’t full enough. Isn’t it amazing how much time you save when you don’t sew items you know aren’t going to be favorites?

I feel the exact way about full skirts lol. I’ve made a few, and always want the straight, A line or max flared skirt :)

Another helpful video. I love your channel! Quick question: what inspired the name of your channel, “Lifting Pins and Needles”?

It was many years ago…. I love lifting weights lol and also, sewing “lifts” us…. Plus the pins and needles 😀. Makes sense to me and sounds unique.
