IN the books, there is brief mention of a spellbook buried deep within the floating city of the Eight Greed Kings, a spellbook that automatically records everything about every new spell that is cast, anywhere. I'm willing to bet pretty much anything THAT is Atlas. Such a comprehensive record of all the magic that any player has ever discovered would be INCREDIBLY useful, because you would never be caught by surprise. If you can identify your opponent's class and skill level, you know exactly what they're capable of.

I doubt they'd actually go for a 4th. There are enough Volumes to make a 4th season but if they kept on the trend of only animating 3 volumes within 13 episodes, then it would end on a cliffhanger because Vol 12 and 13 take place in the Holy Kingdom. Not to mention it would also feel a heck of a lot more rushed than previous seasons. IMO, Vol 9 is a really nice stopping point for the anime but I would absolutely love it if they went ahead with a 4th season.

Atlas could be one of two things. Assuming that it’s based on the legend, it could give you an impossible strength boost. There’s also a second option. What if it was an item that mapped the world as you walked around it? It’s well known that people needed to hand-make maps in the game, so an item that showed you points of interest and automatically made maps would be classed as a world item.

Nah, automatic mapping wouldn't be good enough to be classified as a World item, plus you could probably just use a super/world wish to make that the default if you *really* wanted to. A World class item i could picture, would be picking up areas and moving them,say for example moving the enemy guild's base and putting it next to a world boss' spawn location so that they can't use their base without every single one of their members coming and fighting the world boss only to get ganked by the user's guild, and if the game didn't track the changes made by players using Atlas it could even explain why hand-making maps was a thing rather than just wishing for auto-mapping.

4:15 those gantlets would be insanely useful for a min maxer as you lose have to lose xp and levels to change your stats, you could thus farm xp at max lvl and store it in the gauntlets to then use when you change your stats to always stay at max lvl. Also useful when you die as you also lose some levels.

Vezoth lol I was thinking the opposite. Probably could do an 8 minute overview of the players. Their is an established timeline and some information about their lives in the new world and how they perished. 8 greed kings killed the last of the 6 great gods, ruled the world then killed each other. The last one died when one of the dragon lord used 1of20 world items on him.

The Eight Greed Kings died fighting each other, while one of them did kill the last of the Six Great Gods. The unnamed player only 100-200 years ago died to Deep Darkness Dragon Lord, but DDDL didn't use a World Class Item, but instead stole one from the player after killing them.

It may be that Ainz is the last YGGDRASIL player to arrive because the servers shut down, or that the New World runs in a different time (Not as in timezone but as in the flow of time is different) and every player who has appeared there also stayed until the end of the game. The Author hasn't revealed anything to my knowledge.

there's also a theory that the entire tomb of nazaric was transported to the new world because of the trone of kings. it gained support due to the side story were ainz left the tomb and got transported alone. don't forget that ainz has a world item of his own

The Twitter side story is non-canon according to a quick google search. Apparently, AINZ is the only one transported and not the tomb as you wrote. Ainz also meets Evileye as a human, making the time to be about 250 years before the events of Overlord, if we assume that Evileye gained vampirism only after being first a human and that most the age of Evileye isn't any different in this new, non-canon story than in the light novels. Ainz's theorized WCI is the red orb in his abdomen, but that's only a theory.

to clarify, its not my theory, I just mentioned it. but in its defense ainz stats that he always caries a world class item and that its particularly effective against dragons (volume 11) its just never shown. its not explained in the LN what the red orb is. as for other players, its unknown how the were transported and whether or not they had WCI. it is however a fact that the six great gods had one and that others are still around. but hey ITS JUST A THEORY, A LN THEORY

It would be cool if Avarice and Generosity not only stored exp but also had additional uses that referred to their names. Avarice could be used to steal exp from players on contact while Generosity could be used to give some of the stored exp to another player.

"World disaster" is a mage class similar to the world champion, you need to kill the previous owner to obtain this class. Ulbert Alain, the strongest mage in Ainz ooal gown, had this class. You were right, Touch me doesn't have a specific ranking in the LN. the info I gave you was from the WN.

If I remember correctly, Caloric Stone couldn't be used to request for GM's to do something, and Ouroboros wasn't used to close the whole world, but only restricted Ainz Ooal Gown's (Guild) access to the mine for a month. its not that the stone "couldnt "be used but that tabula secretly used it as the core of rubedo before the guild could decide what to do with it. those actions of tabula were also part of the reason why the position of guild leadr went from touch me to momonga. maybe a full video about the guild ainz ooal gown would be a good idea for "anime-only"s to understand what it is and why momonga is so fixated on it. the part about ouroboros was correct though.

Uteriel The one who gave out the idea of creating invincible golems was called "Nuubou-san". There was never a mention of the Caloric Stone being used *to request for GM's to do something.* There has been no mention of Tabula ever using the Caloric Stone. That's only an assumption based on the theory of Rubedo being made out of the Caloric Stone. Rubedo isn't confirmed to be made out of Caloric Stone, even when all the signs suggest it. So far, it's only a theory that has a very strong basis, and even I agree on it and think it's the best solution to Rubedo's power, however, Maruyama Kugane has barely said anything regarding Rubedo, especially the source of her strength so we can't tell for sure. Touch Me was only the leader of the clan Nine's Own Goal. He gave the leadership to Momonga once they formed an actual Guild. That might be a good idea too. Giving the anime only's the full backstory of Ainz Ooal Gown (Guild) was a big thing. I checked the fourth light novel, and while I did indeed correct him incorrectly, he also made a slight mistake by stating that no one except the guild members of the guild which used the Ouroboros could enter the world. There is no mention of anyone guilds other than Ainz Ooal Gown being affected. “Our enemy used 「οὐροβόρος」 and made it impossible for us to enter the world where the mine was. They probably used that time to search for and find the mine. Once the seal was broken and we could enter the world, we found that the mine had already been taken.” -The Lizard Man Heroes, Chapter 5

Because you haven't read the Light Novels and would like some insight on things that appear in them? Because you enjoy the work that the guy does? Because you want to watch a video because you hate the creator and then hit the dislike button while continuing to watch the rest of the video? Because the videos appeared in your recommended feed multiple times and you decided to watch them even when you didn't like the other videos? Sadly, I don't know the answer to your question. That is only something that you can find it yourself. I am just giving him feedback on the video and something he either got wrong or missed to improve the quality of the videos. When he started his Overlord video, there were a ton of mistakes. How do you think he noticed those mistakes? Maybe through the comment section explaining in detail every single mistake he made. Next video, he decided to pay a bit more attention, but mistakes were still found. On the third video, he made the script be checked multiple times. AniNews was originally getting his information straight from the Wikia, without checking the script through anyone who knew the series. This caused multiple mistakes either due to misunderstanding the phrases in the Wikia, or by skipping over information that might have seemed useless, but in fact, made a big impact.

I think Atlas could be a severe upgrade to the spell "fallen down" that Ains used in his fight against Shalltear. It could also put a single entity in a state where they cannot move or do anything at all where they could only be released when someone else voluntarily takes their place.

You should do more research cause ther is a lot of errors. 1. 50 world items were discovered at a time a guild Ainz Ooal Gown was founded, several years before game ended, not for entire game uptime. 2. 20 do respawn and can be found and used again. 3. Mare is a boy 4. Avarice and Generosity don't need to do that, every player in Yggdrassil can do that when at lvl 100 (of course thwere was a limit). It had this effect in web novel but it is not canon. 5. Depiction of Nature and Society only had ONE way out selected randomly out of 40, not 40 ways out. 6. It is neverd said that Ahura Mazda does damage. It may as well just debuff, CC or in other ways work on evil beings.

If I remember correctly from that guild sidestory, the World Eater was the final boss in the Yggdrasil storyline. Since players aren't the only thing that can come through to the new world (Ainz's NPCs came with him), ya think it'd be possible for the World Eater to arrive in the new world somewhere near the end of Overlord?

I can see many more advantages in isolating an entire world for a month. It basically eliminates interferences from other players during that time, giving opportunity for you to do things that are highly beneficial but have the drawback of leaving you vulnerable. It also means that any ranking events, like tournaments, will only be open to you, making you the winner by default. And that you’ll be able go get all the unique items available without the fair of others beating you to it. And of course without the presence of players, the defenses of properties of other guilds like strongholds, mines and cities, will drop greatly, making them more easy to conquer

You forgot to mention that Longinus can also destroy any item (bar World Class Items), at the cost of one of your own. Like you could destroy TouchMe's armor at the cost of one of your items

I can't remember reading anything like that. Where did you pick that from? "There was a famous item among the Twenty called 「Longinus」, which could completely delete its target, but the price the user paid for that was to be utterly deleted himself. There was no way to restore the data of anyone deleted by that World Class item, other than by using the resurrection powers of other World Class Items. Neither cash items or resurrection spells would work. If someone were to use it on an NPC of Nazarick, it would even reduce the maximum levels of NPCs which could be created - the special feature of a guild homebase." -The Bloody Valkyrie, Chapter 4 That doesn't mention anything about being able to destroy items.

Atlas could be an item that lets you move things/people in other places, like an entire guild base or maybe an item that has a really terrible backdraw (maybe on speed or dexterity) but gives you immense strength (Atlas is known to have enormous strength but he has to keep the earth on his shoulders)

I think the world item Atlas, since Atlas is a giant holding up the sky, a bit of a stretch, but i think it would make you immortal, but you would be unable to do anything. You can take any damage maybe from another world item but once unequipped you'd loose the item and be weaker.

Rewatching some animetubers videos on overlord and this one actually gave me an idea. I do believe that the throne of kings passively blocks world items (although seems much more likely that it just covers a single floor or even just the throne room rather than the entire tomb) I believe it also buffs the effectiveness or potency of spells and effects and is possibly even why the undead passive keeps suppressing his human side and emotions with them only showing occasionally and only his rage ever seeming to be too much for it to immediately suppress. However I also believe that like every other world item seen or described so far it has some form of an active effect or ability that can be used. One theory I have about the effect is that it grants a super buff to a game breaking level (because world item bs) where the tombs residents or the user could become nigh on godlike and providing that raid boss level endgame that Yggdrasil seemed to love so much with its mechanics and quirks or the other theory is that it provides a one time use ability such as reviving all the guardians and minions of the tomb or the ultimate undead summon.

Perhaps the item Atlas gives the user insane strength, making a pretty useful item for a player like Momonga, his magic is already top tier, so if he had an item that made him the strongest in all 9 worlds for a certain period of time, he'd be one hell of a fighter

Two other ideas I have read were really fun such as the idea of atlas being a record of all spells in a world item spellbook which would be fun for Ainz and the one about it being an item that traps a player or enemy in place forcing them to stay until someone else takes their place which honestly would also be very fun to see some enemy of Ainz's locked in place and forced to watch the tombs armies expand and conquer everything

I'd like to see an in-depth comparison in power level, between the battle-maids, the guardians, as well as the original 41 members of AOG (at least whoever was mentioned in the novels). How each one can actually stack up against one another. How big a difference between say a guardian and a lvl100 monster. Or as absurd as it is, a pleiades vs an actual player. It would also be interesting to compare how each of the members, could actually handle taking on their own creations. Similar to Ainz having a 1v1 vs Shaltear (Peroroncino's creation). There's literally so much content on the novels itself for potential videos and its amazing you take the time to make each one. Thanks man.

G Flo Almost none of the powers and abilities of the Supreme Beings have been revealed sadly. Ainz would *probably* beat all of the Pleiades in Seven Sister formation though. CZ would cause a lot of trouble for him though even if she is low level. The leader of the Seven Sister formation and CZ make it really hard for Ainz. Hiding from CZ's attacks in using high tier invisibility magic would be hard as Lupusregina can spot him. The Pleiades shouldn't be able to do too much damage though. (Tried to keep it spoiler free if you're an anime only)

Got two ideas for the atlas. Either it's a book or a map that showed the locations of whatever the user wanted, secret locations/resources/players etc. Or it's a weapon that could cause the sky to fall on whatever pissed off the user, causing an increadable ammount of damage in a Large aoe attack.

Atlas could be an excellent group aoe crowd control effect. Basically, it drops the weight of the entire sky on your targets, pinning them in place. Actually read a fanfic where that happened. It could also be used to kill the target, obviously, but its general use was to stop immensely powerful beings from moving. Dropping enough weight on them to create craters about the size of the super tier spell ainz used on shaltear and maintaining that downward pressure. So if I designed it, much like the scroll world item, you designate an area to effect, activate it, then everyone in that area is immobilized. The item user has to concentrate to maintain the effect so he or she cant do anything else and if they get attacked, the effect will break. Imagine it, you bring your massive pvp raid to face off against a rival guild when suddenly 3/4 of your forces are pinned in place, the enemy is nuking from ranged and carving up your forces, and your last third is trying to break the effect and hoping not to die.

I can imagine that Atlas would/could function as the ultimate form of crowd control by binding a target for an indefinite amount of time and make them unable to rest, recover or interact with any sort of item, NPC or even their own inventory by locking them in a sort of neverending channel to "hold the sky" maybe it would even lock the character information so one could not delete the character and start over until the effect got dispelled by another world item or the original caster dispelled it, I can imagine that would be well within the realms of a world items capabilities seeing as one of them can delete two people including the caster

In web novel Ainz's red orb was also a world item, and apparently wiped out nearly half of that huge player invasion of Nazarick. It never says what exactly it does, but only that (kind of like World Savior) it gets stronger the longer it is in his possession...so it may be like a battery or something that lets him overcharge a spell. The orb is still in his design...but whether or not in the light novel/anime it is the same item hasn't been said though.

In my opinion, the Throne of Kings may be the item Ains talks about when he refers to his World Item that would cost him several levels worth of XP to use, and that its effect is not just that is simply boost stats, but that it makes a player as strong as a raid boss. Not an NPC like Shalltear, but an actual raid boss, like Gargantua. Furthermore, I suspect that it protects the last person who sat in it from the effects of World Items. Since we never, ever see what World Item Ains has to protect himself, it would make sense for it to be something he doesn't necessarily need to have on his person. Also, it seems like it's possible for him to summon the Throne to his location, as he did when addressing the Lizardmen. Also, I'd speculate that the Billion Blades has the ability to temporarily spawn a weapon for its user that is perfectly suited for the current situation, depending on the user's skills, and the attributes of the target. So, a swordsman would get a sword, an archer a bow, or a magic caster a staff. And the weapon would strike the enemy's weaknesses, or ignore their armor or defensive abilities. Or, if none of those are present, just have maximized power, presuming that there's an upper limit to how strong a God-level item can be between all of its attributes and abilities. I'd also bet the Caloric Stone went into the creation of Rubedo, and that's why she's so powerful, and apparently mechanical in nature. Also, it's indicated by Nigredo that there's something different about her compared to the NPCs, and Ains apparently thinks that a World Item would be required to defeat her.

Then wouldn't it be really easy for the user to find other WCI's? If it can't show the locations of WCI's, then what about showing the area's where information that was bought or gained through some mean points there's a WCI? Clearly, the user of the WCI wouldn't have any problem finding where rich mines were, or other ways to gain massive amounts of money/items that could then be traded for information regarding guilds which possess WCI, their weaknesses, or rumors of WCI's. Even if the information turns false it won't be hard for them to regain their wealth and then give other guilds money to spread the knowledge that the guild, which betrayed the users of the Atlas, are liars and thieves who spread false information.

There is actually an item greater than world items. Its called plot items, these items can be used to benifit the user by having the plot turn towards their favor. One of the most rarest plot items is called the protagonist plot armor which will prevent any death and even if death occurs, a magical plot hole will appear and the user will be brought back to life (This is satire if you couldn't already tell)

@@thewhatwhat12333 Keep in mind that the costs of making a game like this would DEFENITLY BE IN THE BILLIONS OR MORE. A video my gametheory was made to represent he cost of SAO first season game. That cost was ASTRONOMICAL in itself (Which was LOWBALLED to be at almost half a billion dollars). But yggdrasil is several hundreds time more complex to SAO, so imagine the costs of that. I wouldnt be surprised it it took an upwards of 100 billion dollars to make ON TOP OF the time it would take to create a game like that. But should it ever come out, its guarenteed to make the money back so long as bugs remain very minimul and people dont find exploits.

As a light novel reader and anime watcher I would highly dislike an episode where you recap what the anime missed. The only way I would watch that is if you discuss such content in a new light than just what the novel tells us about it. For example, if you tell about a character that the anime skipped also tell us your thoughts on the character, and how you think the character might impact Nazarick or the grander story.

Perhaps Atlas allowed a player to drop the sky. Meaning that they dealt damage to everyone in a large area, changed the texture of the sky box to that of a void, and then made that area impassable due to massive amounts of ongoing damage from being exposed to said void. Also learning what I missed while watching the anime would be great, I would love to see those types of videos.

Atlas: an item that would allow it's wearer to tank every damage point directed to all players in the same guild with health equal or lower to the wearer for 3 minutes. When the 3 minutes have passed the wearer loses 50% of their MAX XP and get a number of debuffs (stun, slow, nausea) until at least 5% of the lost XP is regained. All the damage points stacked will be dealt as true damage to every living being in a radious of 5 miles (allies of the wearer get only 20% of the total damage which can be lowered if the players were affected by specific buffs). This item can only be used once per battle and only after the first use it can only by used again if 5 or more allies are down. The cost for charging is doubled and the damage dealt to the wearer is fatal (ignoring resistances. World items excluded). That's what it'd do. It feels like holding an entire world and when you get tired you collapse affected everything around you. Builds suited for this item are immobile tanks with high resistances and AoE who can negate or absorb damage by themselves. This item also combos with peel supports who focus on buffing allies but can cc enemies too.
