I would have liked to hear a little more about the tent in regards to how it held up in the rain (ie how dry you stayed). How did you like the tent overall?

I have the exact same tent and used it for the third time this past weekend. I slept in it once during a heavy rain storm and I was dry as a bone...holds up very well in the rain and as you could see creates its own shelter outside the tent...it is quite loud though. The fly is fairly dense and waterproof (as it should be) but this makes it very loud being so close to your head. Without question, the key is getting it level because your sleeping bag will slide around a lot causing you to slip towards the middle unless you have some sort of sleeping mat that is non-slip but that defeats the purpose...if the tent is level, it is SUPER comfortable. One of the keys to setting up the tent which is not covered in the instructions is that the tent is NOT an equilateral triangle...it is an Isosceles triangle which means it is slightly more pointy at one point...considered to be the back of the tent. Tighten that end last...in other words, tighten the two bottom points first and then pull the other point tight. This will create a better stretched floor in the middle which creates a more supported sleeping setup. My two cents. LOVE THIS TENT, but Adam is right...this is NOT a backcountry camping tent...it weighs at least 25lbs!

Loved this video. Now, make the tent more amenable to those who are keeping weight down. Let’s go with hunters that are bringing game hoists along and can pull to a tension that is suitable. Absolutely applicable to Colorado elk hunting in the mountains. Off the ground is always an asset.

Poor Joelle couldnt get into the tent , lol thatd be me too! steppy stools are good for that! i had to get one recently for our adventures. My husband built a diy drawer slide out for our truck... and yeah the steppy stool is for that. haha hes 6'2" , so no worries for him. But great video as always!
