I converted my 4Tec Corvette over to the VXL system, wound up striping the spur, twice. I ordered a steel spur, but haven't got to take it out and try it again.

I actually don't hate how these drive for stock racing. They are slow, but the suspension and tires are suited to its speed. They almost slip out like a 2WD car under power. My brother and I keep em stock and just chuck em in the street with cones at get togethers. Bought on that same sale. Edit: haha, dude, that drag motor is like 6500kv! Watch temps!
