@ᛞᚢᛋᛏᛁᚾ ᚺᚨᚴᛟᚾᛋᛟᚾ How does that work exactly? While tax funded health care guarantee systems aren't perfect, they do cost way less money and work for more people in the countries that have them than the private insurance system that the US has. Denmark is actually one of the best places to live in the world and tops the world happiness index year after year. Why would the US, of all places, turn into a third world country if they tried to do the same?

Simply because of population. Apparently people don't understand this concept. Jesus Christ! Do the math! I'll help you out a little. There's around 330 million people in America. Only around 1/2 of them work and pay taxes. So 1/2 of the people in the US pay for the other 1/2. What kind of moronic idea is that? Also. If the assumed idea is 50-75% of my dollar goes to funding your health care. Take that idea right up your ass. Do that math! Jesus Christ! I'm going to work for 8 hours a day and get $2-4. Although Fox News has more viewers than the other networks (but then again the kardashians have more views than Fox News), the Democratic party still did not award any contract to Fox News to host a debate. Ergo, maybe he’s right that the parties are in fact the ones calling the shots on the debates-so it would make more sense to reform the party than going at the networks first.

gryphongryph you’re generalizing a quite small percentage of the population and applying it as if it were a whole. I live in California, and our state alone would have a top ten economy if independent. Abortion isn’t a problem here, and I don’t know a single person that has a second job to make ends meet. Much less a third. The education system is a problem, and it’ll never be 100%. But it is very difficult to implement top tier public schools across the board in such a gigantic chunk of land. However, these problems are not as prevalent as you apparently think. My school wasn’t the best, but rule of thumb here is that if you work hard, good things will happen. I studied hard, and did well in school so I got a full ride to East Carolina University, where I got my undergrad. I am now in my second year at Stanford studying pharmacy and doing just fine. All in all, we are quite far from being a third world county. No one ever said we are the best per citizen, but to claim the US is a third world country is nothing more than nationalistic gibberish.

Where is that in our Constitution? I will save you time, it isn't in our Constitution. All three of those examples are unconstitutional and should be up to the States to decide. I want all three but not through our Federal Government. It is why we are in the mess we are in financially and logistically. The market place can solve many problems with less of our tax money and with better results. Free up our dollars for what the enumerated powers specifically call for.
@sabymondal
@sabymondal 4 жыл бұрын
@@briankel If I kill a fly, will that be unconstitutional because "men can kill fly" is not there in Constitution? And we can all see how market is solving healthcare problem. By increasing price of medicine, profiting billions of dollars, at the cost of people's lives. You should see the stats and compare america's healthcare system with other developed countries, where healthcare is guaranteed. You can start with WHO.
@briankel
@briankel 4 жыл бұрын
@@sabymondal Competition will defeat the large insurance companies that monopolize over our system as it is today. We agree that there is a problem but how to solve it is where we probably disagree. The system right now is broken because no one is completing for our business. We have a handful of companies that are guaranteed profit via Fed Gov (Obama Care). What do you think they will do be honest? Capitalism and competition is as honest as it gets. Bad business means no customers good business means better service and prices. Healthcare can not become a Federal power because the Constitution has no mention of it. Since that iasse, it is up to the States to regulate or not regulate. If I am wrong, find it and let me know where it is.
@sabymondal
@sabymondal 4 жыл бұрын
@@briankel Yes I have already heard many times that obama care is responsible for all the problems of healthcare today. So how was the American healthcare before obamacare? It was worse. If doing business in free market solves all the problem, then we should privatize fire department, police department and entire judicial system too. If someone does not pay, he does not get the service. Please take a look at the West European / nordic healthcare system. Their standard of living is higher than united states, and their happiness index is much higher. They figured out that people's life and iphone are not the same thing, on which we can do business and profit. Society needs to act together when people's lives are at stake.
@briankel
@briankel 4 жыл бұрын
@@sabymondal The healthcare industry has been regulated and subsidized well before Obama Care. If the companies competed without "free money" injected into it, we would know what the real cost is. We need to either amend the Constitution to include socialized medicine and not allow private plans or allow companies the chance to win our business without interfering with supply and demand. This inbetween stuff as it stands is driving up the cost and the only ones who benefit are the big insurance companies and politicians with private plans we pay for. If the public plan the politician is pushing for is good enough for us, then the politician MUST except that same plan for their own families. Free Market Capitalism is the most honest form of money transfer so long as we are talking supply and demand. Crony Capitalism is a form of evil and should be eliminated and outlawed. Forgive the caffeinated, long winded explanation.
