I remember being mercy on defence standing on payload because they had a sombra and it was really close to the end. I accidentally clicked "I need help" and my god our lucio turned around so fast with amp healing I thought he'd get whiplash and even though I didn't mean to press it, I appreciated the crap out of that support on support care. One thing I’m noticing is that he isn’t having much of an impact and pretty much only healing. Baptiste is one of the strongest supports in the game and can carry with how much damage he has. If you’re only pressing right click for the majority of the game, your rank will depend on your teammates, not your skill.

One thing I noticed you didn't touch on Sty, was the constant jumping (not talking about using exo boots to reach high ground) they were doing. Being stuck in a parametric motion of jumping is super easy to punish with good aim. It's too predictable. Not to mention it makes it harder for YOU to aim too. Aside from that, the only other comment I'm going to say is **** Widowmaker. Such a terribly designed hero that punishes an entire team while someone plays their point and click adventure in a completely un-divable position. The fact that grapple can be used to "trickshot" is a gameplay design failure in the first place. There needs to be balance between "fun for player" and "engaging for enemy". People love widow because it's so fun clicking heads and solo-carrying a fight without enemy teams being able to punish you without risking their lives. Snipers need drawbacks. Infinite range and 300 DMG shots NEED drawbacks. The sole drawback can't be that she's dependent on a players aim, because then the skill ceiling becomes near infinite. This game is so much more fun and engaging without snipers.

Ur kinda right about the jumping but I did it when I wasn’t in widows sight but also it’s just a habit every ball player has so they can land easier heal grenades. But I get ur point on the primary fire I usually shoot shield more than anything so I don’t really mind.

(although you can use more high ground like sty suggests) As for mainly shooting shield, that's fine if there's nothing else to shoot or heal, but don't underestimate Bap's damage! It's actually insane still. I think you're already a good player, but mixing in a bit more primary fire would definitely help you rank up to masters easy. Practice pulling down your aim during the burst so that you can get a close grouping with the burst (and aim for heads!) WP in the video though, not much you can do against a smurf widow on **the** widow map :/ I also don't know what's up with Sty's clickbait LOL you didn't throw at all.

About the keyboard thing, not knowing what board exactly it sounds like a 60% compact layout. F row can usually be accessed by holding the FN key and using the number keys, numpad keys are generally not configured by default but if your keyboard has any software you would be able to assign numpad to function plus available keys on the keyboard

I’ve played quite a bit of bap in gm games and it is very hard to play against widows (and other sniper heroes) because every time you jump you risk getting headshotted. Especially point 3 of this map. I would recommend switching heroes more depending on the map/comp. If you switched to Ana on 3rd point you could have stayed far right behind the brown silos and eventually moved up to the next building. Honestly I think your bap is really good. You can throw more regular shots in between your healing shots, improve your dps accuracy and maybe be on high ground slightly more, but I think you’re going to climb a bit more if you play the way you are playing. Also coordinate window/firestrike with your rein or full out flank with window. Bap is capable of getting multi kills really fast. Good luck!

Shouldn't the Hanzo Dragon be used to deny that spot? Winston bubble can help you cross to the far room. With a Dome you could also get a sleep off on Widow. Going under the bridge and around denies sight lines.

I’ve had a question for a while...positioning is something I’m pretty good at. Right now, my skill is at a stalemate bc my aim is bad. I mostly play support or recon roles and I mostly play games with bows, snipers, and rifles in general. I’m great at snapshotting but for the life of me I cannot aim an auto rifle or sub machine gun or fight in CQC. I know my sensitivity is a big factor. I keep it high for reaction time. My question: how do I maintain the ability to turn quickly quick without killing the fidelity of my aim (lower my aim sensitivity without killing my reaction time)? I have no idea where to ask such a thing or what exactly to type into google for research.

This player just needs to do one thing: Press 'H' on your keyboard - Support your Winston with a Mercy pocket so he can actually engage a pocket healed Widow - Switch to anything but Baptiste against Doom, your lamp is literally useless against him (except for his ult) - Play Ana to stay far in the back to avoid to get into Widows LOS - (that Lucio should have played Brig when they had a Doom and Genji) As a diamond player myself (tank and support), I think I loose most of my games because of not countering enemy heropicks and not properly regrouping

There is a reason why the role is called 'support' and not 'heal'. You would have forced their Widow to switch which would have taken a lot of pressure from your whole team.

That is clearly a GM/T500 DPS on Widow doing an unranked to GM climb and that dude unfortunately just got caught in the way. Widows at that level are scary and can control/dominate a game. He played like a low masters player on support to be fair and the mistakes he made would not have turned the tide of this game. Their DPS were clearly better and the Ana on the other team did a good as well. GGs and on to the next one.

It's funny how you moan about how Bap's lamp cancels ults (via an object that can be destroyed) on a 30 second timer, but are just fine with Ana's grenades cancelling out ults on a 10 second cooldown (with no way to remove the effect other than a one target Zarya bubble). The difference I guess, is who's ults are getting cancelled out eh? Bap ability is "such a bad idea", Ana ability is "really cool". What a double standard.

Why don't they just swap immortality field and amp matrix? Make amp matrix a smaller window (like roadhog sized maybe?) and reduce the damage buff but keep it on a long cool down, you can have something to help with ranged characters for a few seconds, while immortality matrix becomes a ult, maybe making it last a couple seconds longer

their reasoning behing making immo an ability rather than an ult, is because there are already so many defencive ults in the game. coelecsence trans beat rally they wanted something more similar to nano with the functioning of it. with that said, screw bap, i wanna play ana again and NOT bap whenever brawl is played.
