The difference between FunnyAstro, Poko and Soon is that the Fusion players have a visa. They just cannot enter South Korea because flight restrictions (like Kevster or Onigod). Avast with a hard and bad take on Washington. They were a mess last year because their 2020 team was picked up before they signed Supreme as coach, most of them by several months before he was there so he had no say in what he was coaching. This year it's built around his coaching style

Imo avast's criticism of gesture is somewhat justified as gesture does seem to fluctuate significantly between the different MTs. However, since seoul are now putting marve1 back onto MT, they should be able to fill some of gesture's holes. Marve1 is probably be much better on rein and overall is likely a more stable MT, gesture can be used when metas allow him to peak. The profit criticism is not justified imo, the 'playoffs profit' meme has perpetuated this idea that profit is inconsistent outside playoffs, but his individual performances have rarely been below a top level. London and Seoul had rollercoaster-like performances, but that shouldn't automatically imply that every player on the two teams were inconsistent. Other than a few occasions, e.g. echo in S3, profit has almost never been a weak point for his team. Seoul's inconsistency in particular seem like a potential coaching issue, since they made some very strange choices.

Here's a hot take for coach of the year. Unther from ATL. He joined as a direct result of complaints from the fans about poor coaching and they didn't make that many changes to the core of the team. Sooo, if ATL pops off and the team comes together the easiest answer as to where that success came from is the addition of Unther who somehow managed to take a failure of a coaching structure and turn it around

Philadelphia fusion will be a mental game based on how the players think and react to their situation, thoughts such as "this is bullshit" and "I hate playing with these guys cause it's not a long term thing" will hinder them however I believe that the coaches would be somewhat aware of that and try to deal with it and with their good coaching staff they may not do as well but certainly would not be bad. I also believe that while astro was a top tier main support,tobi is above average and hotba was too, plus with existing synergy with some of these players it would not be that bad. Let's not forget too that we dont know why they were picked up last minute, of course Visa issues but they could have tested and scrimmed a lot with these players as well as been hoping the visa issues would finally sort out, as a community we cannot assume things from a team that even josh mentioned has not issued much statements or any about the visa issues.
