Nice looking steps BUT, why not climb into the van using the step? Should have the Driver and passenger demo!

Just did my first overland in the Revel and have some damage to the side steps and the exhaust pipe (pinched under the side steps) from the heater. Seems like a needed upgrade for off road. Had to use the max-trax and getting them off the roof was a bummer, so liking the simple side access. Are they secure from theft?

The Maxtraxx or the side steps? You can get locks for tractions boards. The Side Steps are bolted on, you could weld some bolts I guess but never heard of someone stealing side steps

Will it also serve as a rock slider?

It isn’t structural like a rock slider. It will help protect the van but you would not be able to lift the van or support it by the side step
