Thanks for the info. Though would like to know what's the length of the standing area where it drops down? How wide is it as well?

Thank you for your review! Great info. Just got the board! Have you tried the motor guards with the 6" or 7" AT wheels? They may only fit with the cloud wheels. What have you found?
@RageStudios2 жыл бұрын
I tested with cloudwheels discovery 120mm , 5 inches 150mm pneumatic tires and cloudwheels rover 165mm 7 inches wheels, basically the bigger the wheels the better as you get more clearance of the ground. you can check my instagram for videos of the ownboard bamboo At pro with 165mm wheels

Is it still an AT board without the pneumatic wheels?
@RageStudios2 жыл бұрын
that's a good question, I gues that's why some people call this a 2 in 1 AT board

I'm having a hard time choosing a board under or at a thousand dollars. With the code this is 1049
@RageStudios2 жыл бұрын
there are 2 battery options, the more standard is under $1000 with code, this board is really worth every penny, plenty of power and really good range

My feedback - caveat emptor. I bought my son a Bamboo AT Pro and it has been a total disaster. Very poor QC - truck bolts loose, belts MUCH too loose leading to total destruction/detachment of stock AT rear wheel on our very first ride. Bearings nuked, pulley torched, motor mount damaged...lucky my son didn't break his neck. MULTIPLE back and forth emails w/ Ownboard, including detailed descriptions and video/photo substantiation of the issue, were excruciating in their inefficiency and unsatisfactory resolution efforts. We expect equipment to work as intended out of the box and be reliable and SAFE. Not the case with this board. Thanks to Daniel Kwan's video on belt tension I diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Frustratingly, I asked Ownboard several times for feedback on WHY the problem occurred and what we could do to prevent it from happening again - I never got an answer. After a good deal of back and forth they finally sent replacement parts for the AT wheel that was destroyed, but it would have happened again had I not figured out the root cause on my own. I understand the language barrier, but after-sale support is critical and the fact they couldn't diagnose something as simple and obvious as low belt tension is concerning. NB - in frustration I emailed Evolve to ask them a few questions and get a sense of how they do business, thinking maybe they were the company I should be patronizing - and was totally ignored. Not impressed! Overall I'm not convinced this industry is ready for prime time. We'll stick to mountain bikes - they're finicky but at least you can take them to a local shop and get quality service and support from someone you can speak to and look in the eye.

how would you know?
@andrewsalinas40892 жыл бұрын
Look at what it is. 10s5p of m35a. Cells can output max 50 amps and probably not even that before they’re thermally throttled. Lowish lower voltage makes them now have as hard a kick. Much rather have 12s4p p42a, the cells are only around $4.70 in bulk. Would have bought instantly.

@@andrewsalinas4089 sometimes the number don't reflect the performance, you should try it first before having such a strong opinion on it

@@RageStudios you can't do something if there is no power, that's not how physics works... the power is limited so you won't be able to accelerate hard. I have a meepo hurricane and it would absolutely destroy this. The ESC is rated for double current AND a higher voltage. There's no way it can compete from a physics standpoint, I don't have to try it to know that.
@RageStudios2 жыл бұрын
@@jimmysyar889 I tried both and there isn't a very big difference, the price do have a very big difference, for the price of this board I think it have no competition, and you can see how saying that you don't need to try something to know if it's good doesn't reflect good on you and wont validate your opinion at all.
