Peter grabbing the appetizers from the kitchen in the middle of rush and just taking it upon himself to eat a customer's food was the most infuriating thing I've ever seen in this series. I've never understood why Yanks do that. In the UK, if the parents are Irish, Italian, French, whatever, the kids will still usually say they're British, and maybe tell you where their parents are from. I'm mostly Irish ancestry-wise, and I even look a bit Irish, in fact in terms of blood I'm probably far more Irish than your average Bostonian is, or more Irish than your average New Yorker is Italian, but I'm definitely still gonna just call myself British :P

Probably the most bizzare/unexpected change in character in any episode, the way he suddenly and drastically changes after the 31:00 argument is unbelievable. Not sure how much is clever editing, but if that’s actually what happened then Gordon is an absolute genius at cracking people and getting through to them. Peter literally went from the worst owner ever to fully admitting Gordon was right and accepting that he needed to change just like that? If this was a fully scripted drama that character arc would not be in any way believable.

See the thing is that you have to concider that the owners know there's a time limit. So as the days pass they basically look at thw clock and go "oh shit hes gonna be leaving two days from today" and get their act somewhat together
